Thanks to kwanho1 for Legend of Grimrock 2! Had it on my steam wishlist for quite some time.

My wife snagged mine and put it away until Christmas. Can you play non steam games like Minecraft?

haven't tried yet, but i doubt it. Not 100% sure.

Played some Skyrim Extraspecial Edition and there were some graphical quirks. For example, any time someone turns their head, their face blurs pretty badly like it's something out of a 1980s ghost movie.

Aside from that it looks amazing. Still plays pretty well, even if controller mapping is insane. Y to jump? The **** is that?

Toys R Us doing 2 for 25 on all games priced 19.99 and under. Just grabbed bloodborne and shovel knight. There's my "why isn't bloodborne ever under 19.99" fix.

Thanks kwanho1 for Infinifactory.

I was just reading about this game based on earlier Zachtronics discussions itt. Nice. Thank you.

I kinda feel like when it comes to AAA console games, $19.99 is your "buy now or swear it off forever" price. Like, ****ty launch games nobody played are still $19.99.

I just realized I payed $20 to have my entire steam library, including enhanced skyrim, on my tv, when I could have payed $40-60 to just get skyrim on xbone. Feel like that was an excellent purchase.

I'm really struggling with getting into Mass Effect 2. I enjoyed the first one, but this one seems meh. Plus the combat is quite ridiculous/atrocious. I'm having hard time abandoning legendary games, but it seems like it'd be the best choice for me.

Yet, the reviews seem to contain pretty much unlimited praise.

ME2 was wildly overrated. The narrative structure is so repetitive: find companion, do companion quest, repeat. I prefer story-driven games to open-world but there is so little room for exploration that ME2 barely feels like an RPG. After the brilliant Citadel in ME1, ME2's version was a crushing disappointment, especially as there is no similar hub area.

The combat received a lot of praise, which I always found baffling because it's essentially a Gears of War clone, only bad. Shooting and movement felt stiff and unresponsive compared to the slickness of GoW. ME3 improved this and every other aspect of the game considerably.

Don't know what to say, if you don't like first 5 hours, you probably won't like the rest. I personally liked pretty much every part of the game, the dossier missions were great (Archangel!).

RPGs don't need open world or a lot of exploration to be good. I very much prefer focus on actual story content.

Thanks guys, just came back to it, gave it another 1-2 hours, done Archangel and feel like I'm forcing myself to playing it.

One less game in the mental backlog then! yay.

ME2 was pretty bad imo too. Then again I didn't like DS2 very much either and lots of people liked that a lot too so shrug.

I don't understand "you people"...

Also, no point in backing up opinions on ME2 as it has already been heavily discussed. That said, I loved ME1/ME2. Hoping to finally get around to replaying them in the near future.

I'm 6 hours into this game since last night. Wow, what a cool fun challenging 3d puzzle game.

So well done. Big thumbs up here.
