Gemcraft Chasing Shadows on Chrono.gg for $1.50 should be a snap buy if you're into tower defense

New Humble Bundle looks awful.

I think it's awesome. Been waiting to try out every single game up to tier 2. Already owned Shadow Warrior(which is worth the price alone) but the key added DLC so I might go back. Played Not A Hero at a friends the other day and it was great.

Why does humble bundle describe Mad Max as a 'multi-player hardcore survival FPS?' It's none of those things. They might as well have described it as a 2D platformer puzzle game for kids.

Sounds like a bit of trolling

How do they describe Mount and Blade?

Pretty much they just describe it as a Total War clone

Lately I've just been picking up the bundles if I'm at all interested in a few of the games; it's so inexpensive and I like rewarding both the devs and charities for making their games available this way. Getting a few quality games for $10-$12, giving away keys (people always appreciate a free game), and giving a little to charity is pretty sweet imo.

Ya, wtf!? If you haven't clocked at least 200 hours of RL at this point you should leave this forum in disgrace.

Can't play games like Rocket League sadly. My tendinitis would flare up like a solar event on that type of game. Looks amazing though.

I get really irritated at games that don't recognize non-xbox controllers, and Rocket League is one of those games.

I use a PS4 controller on PC.

Yeah, I know about the "workarounds."

Lol. Maybe PC gaming isn't for you.

Maybe. My experience with the workarounds is they don't work.

I just use a laptop and the controller I have. If they don't work out of the box or with minimum hassle, I don't mess with it. I don't consider myself a "PC gamer" and am not really concerned with any stigma associated with any of that. I'm not begging for help, just expressing disappointment that when I decided to try RL on the free weekend, it turned out to be yet another one of those games that doesn't just work.

Not that big of a deal, I've got plenty of other stuff to do.

I used my ps3 controller and a logitech controller for a while.

After struggling with 3d party programs and setups and stuff I finally gave up and got an xbox-controller. It's surprisingly good. And it just works with everything.

Yeah I think that's what you're supposed to do. I'm just not going to do it. Don't care that much. I spend most of my time playing chess these days and steam games are just a "because I can" hobby. If a controller fell in my lap, alright. Couple of bucks at used game store or something, sure. But it's just simply not worth the bother for me overall. And I have no idea what the excuse is for some games to only support xbox controllers. Lots of games work right out of the box with my saitek just fine. Seems lazy or something, but whatever. It's their choice, just like it's my choice not to bother with their games.

I've never had a problem with using InputMapper and a ps4 controller.

I have an xb1 controller too but prefer the ps4.

I guess controller actually makes sense if you play on laptop. I always game on desktop so never saw the allure of controllers.

I just got a controller for my desktop, mainly because Dragons Dogma was virtually unplayable, and I wanted to give Dark Souls a go.

Gave it a quick go, but it felt weird. I might have to a have a look at the input mapper thing when I get bored of Grim Dawn.
