I have a weird way to play Nuclear Throne: I play a run, I die, I close the game, repeat after 10-15 mins

I'm totally hooked on factorio too and probably have a problem haha (43 hours in it, pretty much my entire free week I just had). Anyway, I started straight with bobs mods, a mega overhaul, and **** gets straight mental in that. Here is a pic of automated blue science in it. Note that I have a belt that goes around the entire base to feed turrets with ammo haha



No map resets, you noobs. Anyway after that I restarted with some mods taken out to get some more vanilla recipes and a bit less complexity and I'm currently aiming for something more compact and here is somthing I'm super proud about.

It's more of a logistics sim, like a 2D tech heavy modded minecraft.

The story is this: You crash landed on a planet and need to build a rocket to get home. You have nothing. So you start building up a giant factory to go from stones to a rocket. The factory produces pollution and the local wildlife reacts badly to pollution and attacks you, so you have to build up defences. More tools needed => bigger factory to produce them => more pollution => more attacks

Oh and trains are a terminal predator in this world. You better ****ing save if you want to cross a high traffic rail line.

I got Prison Architect as the GOAT logistics sim. So simple yet so elegant.

I just started playing this, I think I'm pretty bad.

it's Spelunky/Crypt of the Necrodancer/FTL style, it takes ALOT of time to be good at it even though it doesn't seem so on the surface

The only thing holding me back is that an Android version is supposed to be released and I've a ton of Google Play money.

40 hours into factorio and my brain hurts, finally have fully automated red and green science. Learned a lot from watching a tutorial series on youtube that was pretty good

25 hours in and with this playthrough I finally got my oil production going with advanced oil production, I think I'm keeping ahead of my light and heavy oil storage, cracking both in to petroleum, just finished my blue science also.

So far I don't get the need for all the military stuff unless it's for when you go on the offensive, usually a single turret with piercing rounds can take care of any enemy parties without taking any damage, so I just keep one every 20-30 tiles on the perimeter.

My base looks like someone vomited spaghetti all over the place, but I think it takes a lot of experience seeing where you need to leave room for different areas and how to work with a main buss for all your smelted materials and fluids.

I have to say, the new Hitman game is really enjoyable! You have to like the fine art of completing every challenge by replaying the level multiple times, but if that is your cup of tea, 12€ is a steal to try the game for a good 10 hours.

This weeks humble bundle has a lot of games similar to total war.

Fall of the Samurai and Valkyria Chronicles for <$5 is a pretty good deal.

Paid more than 5 for valkyria by itself with no regrets. It's a great game with high production values.

15 hour marathon session of factorio just ended with me getting blue science!

Started over 1 last time at the beginning just because I am finally starting to understand just how much space u need to leave for everything.

The next big step will be figuring out how to balance oil production. I was able to break down the crude into petroleum for my plastic and sulfuric acids, however production has ceased b/c right now I have no use for light or heavy oils and the storage tanks I built for them are full.I can build secondary tanks as a stop-gap if necessary, but I would like to find uses for the oils asap.

I gotta admit, at first I was a little skeptical, but Factario just may be worth a pick up once you get into it.

If you are playing without mods, use advanced oil processing (it's a tech, needs blue science).

Use Heavy oil to produce lube and crack the rest to light oil. Use light oil to produce solid fuel and crack the rest to petroleum gas. Use the gas to produce plastic and acid for batteries batteries. You end up with little heavy, little light and all the gas you need.
