I don't even have origin installed anymore. I got burned by SimCity and I'm done. I'm done with EA games for the most part.

This is the 2012 reboot, the 05 game was a lot of fun, idk if the new one is "forgot my password" for Origin fun. That's like, 3 steps.

Yeah, I should probably just buy it. I'd probably get BE if it was a few bucks less, so it's silly to deliberate over the price at this point. Plus, I'm getting some other content.
I enjoyed Ace Patrol quite a bit, it's very board gamey but quick and fun.

I only played the original on xbox. What do you mean by a 2012 reboot?

They made another game with the same title, the game that's free is not the one you bought for the 360. It got decent reviews but it's your more modern open-world type racer like Burnout: Paradise. It was made by the Burnout studio, not the people who made the original.

Huh... thanks for the reply. That is unfortunate. It's free though so I guess it is worth checking out sometime!

Also, I have Rayman® Origins from new Humble Bundle if anyone wants it. It is Uplay... but if you want it, first person to ask for it in this thread and has PM access can have it

I played that on Wii and loved it, great game.

I'll take it rocker. That's the only game that I was considering getting the bundle for. Thanks!

Anyone on the early release for Torment: Tides of Numenera?

I've been pretty pumped for this game for a while now. If can be as good redoing Torment as PoE was redoing Baldur's Gate, I'll be more than happy.

I have access to the Torment beta through my kickstarter level, but there is no way I'm spoiling a game like this by playing an early version of it.

Not reading any reviews or impressions from those who do either.

I just backed the normal version. Even if I had the beta I wouldn't play it though, partly not to spoil it, partly because it is bug-ridden and partly because I probably couldn't finish the current save.

A friend of mine is an artist on the Torment team. Also was for PoE.

This. The track record for 0-day stability for these Kickstarter reboots of classics is not great.

And unlike something like X-COM2 where I devour previews because I'm excited to see what fun things might make me want to buy it, Torment earned my money in 1999. I don't need to see a feature list to know I'm buying that ****.

This Humble Bundle is really tempting, even though I own Rayman Origins. I had Call of Juarez on my wishlist for a long time, now I see that Grow Home is decent too, it's a must buy for $1. Now as if I want to go higher I'm not sure, since I want just Far Cry 3, but maybe they'll add more

If all the games were on steam I'd snap buy the $15, but I really don't want uplay.

Good point! Only Call of Juarez and Grow Home is on steam, so $1 tier that is.

You need uplay installed to play Ubisoft games on Steam anyway. I have several Assassin's Creed games and The Division and all require uplay to be installed.

Grow Home and Call of Juarez Gunslinger don't require uplay as far as I can tell.

I have both and bought them specifically because they didn't require uplay, and both are fantastic shortish games.

I was referring to buying the other games if they had steam keys. Even if they came with steam keys you would need uplay.

Uplay is fine nowadays. It was buggy when it first came out, but that was years ago.

Would it be nice if the PC world only had one launcher? Sure, but there is no reason to hate it any more; it is basically the same as Steam. You don't have to have it running when you aren't playing a game from there and if you're ultra-paranoid, you can put it in offline mode.
