Steam is so much nicer to my bank account.
I've played about an hour of Mirror's Edge now and three hours of Mass Effect. Both games seem great. It's a great feeling when I can get a good, fluid run going in Mirror's Edge. Unfortunately this is broken up with some points where I'm not entirely sure where to go. I take a wrong turn and end up jumping off a building to my death.
Mass Effect seems really good so far. Very similar to KOTOR. Great story so far, it's what Bioware does best.

I haven't played a RTS in a long time. I've been going through the campaign thinking it might be a bit easier. For the most part it is since I don't need to worry about getting screwed by a bad build order. Once they give me command of a bunch of units and multiple objectives I get overwhelmed. I find that there's just too much to keep track of. Will probably need to bump it down to easy until I get the hang of it again. The cutscenes sure are entertaining though.
