Spent less than $10 out of pocket, plus got Walking Dead for $5 on Greenmangaming. Strongly considering getting Wasteland or Shovel Knight to polish it off and give me plenty to play until next sale. Was hoping to get Braid for 75-80% off but it never dropped. Oh well, I'll probably make enough off cards to get it free next time around.

Luckily I already had visual studio installed on my computer, so editing the launch exe was fairly painless, except for those times I messed up and stupidly didn't have a backup.

Not a bad start to 2015. Wife went to bed early, so I played Wolfenstein: The New Order for the first time. Pwning noob nazis isn't a bad way to ring in the New Year. I also started on the "I am Death Incarnate" difficulty - I'm no pansy.

Oh well I'm always signed in with admin. I used to play it with keyboard and mouse a few years ago but can't find my discs so figured I'd buy a steam copy if controlder works ok now.

I bought AC4, Bit Trip Fate, Microsoft Flight and some Japanese indie game that looks like dmc. Not much but I'm happy with it, only spent trading card money anyway.

I wasn't really feeling this sale but I can't complain when I've got a giant backlog.

After playing the Kerbal Space Program demo last night I just had to buy it. I don't like early access bs, but I haven't been so excited for a game since I was a kid. I had to cough up the $18, hopefully it's worth it.

Only other stuff I bought was some super cheap puzzle games and SMB. I played through RUSH already which I bought for $0.50. It's a simple puzzle game where you need to manipulate the path of rolling cubes to get them to their goal. If you like logic puzzles I'd get it. Several challenging levels that leave you feeling accomplished after solving (unless you cheat and use the hint system).

I'm new to Steam, so curious how often sales run? Is it only the big winter and summer sales or are there other offers throughout the year?

Also have a spring and Halloween sale but winter and summer the bigbiggest ones it seems like.

As for kerbal. Ive had the demo for forever. Really want the full game but I'll probably wait for summer sale

20 hours of kerbal in 2 days. And only because i went out of town after the second day, or it would have been higher.

It's not for everyone, but if you like the genre, it's a must buy...
