What's the general consensus on Wasteland 2? I got to Highpool then deleted it so that I could install Shadows of Mordor. Not really sure if I can be bothered reinstalling it later...
I'm probably in the minority with this but I think Asylum is the best Arkham game so far. I think it does almost everything better than it's sequels apart from maybe combat being more fluid in City. I prefer the Metroid style of gameplay over the open world style and the atmosphere was great, you felt like you were actually in the asylum unlike the empty and static cities of City and Origins. In Asylum you would constantly see areas that you can't get to because you need the required gear and it made you want to explore the world, that rarely happened in the other games. I don't really rate the story in any of the Arkham games but Asylum's definitely fits the gameplay more than the others as well.
I preferred Asylum for the exact reasons you say. The linear path just fit the gameplay really well

Dont know about WL2 but Divinity Original Sin is simply an amazing game, perhaps the best game I have played in the last 5 years imo. Though I suffer from horrible recency bias when rating games.
So I'm the GM of a corporate video game chain in my town and we get new games/movies on Thursday but 2k are such buttholes they won't let me take the new Borderlands home. I wanted to just play it on super offline mode but I was scurred.
Steam changing my currency from Euros to NOK is annoying now everything looks 8 times more expensive and i gotta do math to compare it with other sites

Get the enhanced steam extension and just use the steam website, so much better/easier.
Anyone with recommendations for good board games on steam? I'm thinking about buying Ticket to Ride to play with friends and I am wondering what else is out there. Tragic that Dominion isn't on steam- seems like it would print money.
Can't speak for Steam but Ticket to Ride is fantastic on iOS. I've also enjoyed Neuroshima Hex, Le Havre, and Tigris & Euphrates and would recommend them in that order. My current favorite board game is Star Realms, which is a deck builder like Dominion but with a sci-fi theme and a different feel than Dominion. It's $5 to unlock it across all devices and OS's.
"Q: So we earned PAYDAY The Heist for FREE. When will it be available, and can I keep it forever? A: The members of the group will be able to download PAYDAY The Heist for FREE on the 18th of October, like they would do it in a 24 hour promotion. They can keep the game forever! "
FYI they moved this up by 2 days. Now available on October 16th not October 18th... Seems like a shady move to push the date up.
"This was going to happen on the 18th originally but since you guys did such an awesome job we want to give you the reward as soon as possible," Overkill Producer Almir Listo wrote.

Why would it be shady? They met the 1.5M heisters goal early, so they wanted to reward everyone early.
