Ok just saw Doggz' post above. Apparently making a two sentence statement about pirating games is "attacking someone's morality." That is some funny stuff right there. Read into something much? I don't have anything personal against people who choose to pirate games, I just think it is pretty awful.

Arguing on the internet I suppose. Now I do feel bad about derailing this thread.

I've pretty much stopped pirating games since steam sales...

but then there are companies that want to have their own platform and not release games on steam...sorry I'm not having more than one program to be a hub for games...

Also the longer you wait to finish the mission the harder it gets. So speed is also essential

some random thoughts:

I really loved Bioshock (the original) for its atmosphere and idea, however somewhere around midway I found it a bit boring and I had to quit. On the other hand Batman: Arkham Asylum is so great, I typically don't like these kind of games but seems like a perfect mix of story, combat/stealth and exploration. Highly recommended.

I guess the story in Bioshock is given in not so obvious way, for a non native it was hard for me to keep up with the recordings and keep going on and killing stuff.

I'm probably in the minority with this but I think Asylum is the best Arkham game so far. I think it does almost everything better than it's sequels apart from maybe combat being more fluid in City. I prefer the Metroid style of gameplay over the open world style and the atmosphere was great, you felt like you were actually in the asylum unlike the empty and static cities of City and Origins. In Asylum you would constantly see areas that you can't get to because you need the required gear and it made you want to explore the world, that rarely happened in the other games. I don't really rate the story in any of the Arkham games but Asylum's definitely fits the gameplay more than the others as well.

Not that anyone cares, but I figured out that I have 2 Origin accounts and I was logged into the wrong one. All is good! DA:O is still listed as free so now I have it on both accounts.

I'm not sure when matlab became a game, let alone a game that Steam was distributing, but it's certainly an interesting development.

Also - being a math-nerd isn't an excuse for not paying for stuff. I feel less bad about beating up on the nerds at school now though - deadbeat thieves the lot of them obv.
