only if you're on team pink zephyr otherwise no

I've thrown some expensive games on the wishlist just in case tho but yeah most likely just selling the cards, you get one with any craft but I'm presuming by now you can't profit doing that. (I'm sure you can bot it since many sell for less than going rate but it seems so stupid)

30 people from your team, which is where I lost interest in the idea. You're better off going to the gas station and playing some scratch card lotto tickets. It also doesn't say, but I imagine Steam will pull the 3 least valuable games from your wishlist, or has a premade list of games that are eligible which no one really cares about. I doubt you get to pick.

Steam member since: 11th November, 2011

Found 94 games with the value of $1,467.14 USD and a total playtime of 3,232.13 hours

That's a lot of time considering the amount of time I have played on non steam games.

Might get cheaper, hold off until last day.

You have no chance to win ok, it's just a lottery.

What happens on the last day of the sale? Maybe a better question is 'What could you miss out on by waiting until the last day?'

From years past, Steam has made it a tradition for the final day of the sale to be an encore of the best sellers(deepest discounts) throughout the entire sale.

You wait until the last day to be sure a game you want to buy isn't a flash/daily/community sale. On the last day you resign yourself to buying games at only 50-66% off.

I'm not talking about crafting a Summer badge but just a badge from a random game. Crafting a badge gets you a Summer card (about $0.5 now) and at the end of the day you get 1 more summer card for helping your team ( if you lose) or 2 cards and a chance at 3 free games if your team won. It seems like there are some cheeseburgers to pick up while the summer cards are high.

Yeah make sure you join a team. At worst you get 1 Free Summer Sale card, but you actually have to opt in.

Oh, yes of course you can craft normal badges. At the beginning of the last sale, I crafted about 20 levels of badges for free because I was just selling the cards I got from crafting.

I've done it a bit today already, but it's time consuming.

I want to do this how did you get the card? I'm guessing it's hard to get cards if you don't buy or play any games on Steam, though.

they're adding buy orders to the marketplace finally

to kill the botters

currently testing it with a few items. it works with all the new summer cards tho.

^Yeah I was hoping to exactly replicate that sequence of actions but when I joined a team I didn't get a card. I think you need to be level 5 and I'm not even that. Stupid Steam, not giving me enough free stuff even though I've contributed nothing to their community and actually gotten several games for free already.

It's level 8, actually.

Also from the FAQ:

Vote for the Community's Choice Flash Sale
If you’re Steam Level 8 and above, you’ll get a card every third time you vote for the Community’s Choice sale. There are 29 chances to vote! (If you reach Steam Level 8 before the end of the sale, you’ll be granted the cards you earned by voting.)

71 games $897 only 137 hours. Lol. Been buying games on sale for years. Just got a PC couple months ago that could actually play them

I see also that the price of your library counts the full retail price and not the sale price

lean mean machine, always clean, even in the latrine, eating bean cuisine, pink team.

teams are just a crapshoot for a reward we'll never win, I don't see the point really.

My only goal this sale is to solely use trading card sales to buy Dark Souls II. Listed ~$30 worth of cards in terms of market value a couple days ago at 30% over market, have sold about 40% so far, so things are looking good as long as the market doesn't crash too soon.

I'm assuming you listed normal trading cards (not the summer ones). Normal cards will mostly go up in price during the sale, as long as their games don't also go on sale (but they will, of course).

Grabbed the witcher 2 because I can!
Probably the only thing I'll buy.
