just be careful with Witcher 1, combat is pretty dull, everything else is amazing.

Would I miss much skipping part 1 and going straight to part 2?

Could have sworn I saw ES6 had a 2015 planned release date. This was a year or so ago though.

I liked witcher 1 better than 2, but that was because of the everything else. I especially loathed how they took the only skill aspect out of playing dice. I wasted so much time in witcher 1 just gambling with fools who didn't know how to exploit position. Oh yeah, and I also hated how they made all the supporting characters more cardboardy in W2.

Can't wait for W3, I'm holding off building my next gaming box for that I think.

I never played 1 and I loved 2.

To me Witcher 2 is in a class of its own, it does so many things that make other games look lazy and unrefined, story, location, character, art style all elite.

I'd personally rate W1 8/10 and W2 9.5/10, so I think it is worth playing. I think the combat is fine, more annoying is that you have to run around quite a bit. I still think the story, characters and world makes up for it and Witcher 2 pretty much continues from where W1 left.

So they went straight for my jugular with Far Cry 3 and X-COM.

BTW The complete X-COM pack with the expansion and a couple of DLC is 66% off, are they likely to offer that package with higher discount given they have done a deal on the base game, or will expansion offers only come in relation to deals on the base game?

It's quite fun. You are a dude lost In the woods. You need to not starve. Take minecraft, change to 2d, add in Tim Burton art, and mix with some kind of exploration game

This guy looks like such a tool though. I kinda want him to starve. Would that make it harder for me to succeed?

I was expecting a discount on South Park. Glad I didn't wait for that one...

With that said I can't imagine skipping the first one for $2, I'm pretty tempted on that

No, if the base game is already a daily/flash/community sale the package is already as low as it will go.

so cards prices are rising, when do you guys think it's time to offload?

I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting 100 cards at 0.12€ each, but I got 15 at 0.20€.

Any chance cards will reach 1€?

I originally liked Don't Starve but after a couple hours, I was over it. Just felt like too much of a grind for little reward.

if you want to skip first part and catch up with the story they made a really nice cinematic that will let you know everything you need to know before starting witcher 2

I'd try playing it first though

Yeah, cards are already going for 5-10x their normal value and it's only the first day of the sale. I wonder how many first run decks will be crafted into oblivion

takes a few minutes to buy a card for 0.15 and sell it for 0.30, but i would guess it only gets interesting with a bot.

It's really tedious to refresh refresh refresh and always see "someone already bought it" 4 times out of 5, so imho it's a no-go to do it manually
