Is there actual demand behind the 'early access' movement, or is it just devs/steam pushing it? Paying for a beta (hell, sometimes an alpha) quality product doesn't make any sense to me when there's such a large quantity of solid, finished titles available.

Guys talking about Civ > One of the lead designers for Civ 5 was a modder for Civ4 that produced the best AI mod that was commonly used among fans. IIRC hex tiles and one unit per tile were some of his ideas.

Isn't switcher supposed to be sort of GOAT? Seems I should get it even though I tend to not like first person action RPGs. At least I assume I don't lol.

Also, Heroes 6 worth getting? I have a hard time playing "better" older versions with outdated graphics/polish. Or should I target enchanted fortress instead (I think it's somewhat similar?)?

If you haven't played RE5 yet they def yes. I liked RE5, I know some didn't like the forced co-op but it's still a good game imo.
