Let's talk about Stream and buy mountains of games - Page 16 - Video Games

I did not play any new PC games in a very long time as I only had laptops since 4 years. Right now I am shocked how good Stalker looks (and how well it runs on my new laptop). Any suggestions what I missed the last years and shall play next?

Bioshock, on sale atm
Mass effect series
Fallout 3 & new vegas
Borderlands, though read up on it, style might not be for you
starcraft 2
Portal, very short (4h gameplay) but extremely fun

Those are my fav pc games from the past few years

Also, Trine is on sale @ steam, 75% off for €5, can anyone recommend this title?

I'm pretty sure several people in this thread have recommended Trine, from when it was on sale a while ago. It's reasonably fun but pretty short, for that price it's probably worth it.

I play on my laptop, its barely enough though, everything on low and when there's a big fight fps drops heavy

Still hope for AOE3. Just spoke to support. First guy said I had to clear my cache and that the offer had ended, next one said MS are working on the problem and I should be able to buy it "within 72 hours".

Edit: Ok looks like they fixed it.........by putting it back up to £27.49. Balls.

On a related note, I recently tried to make a hovercraft with 25 thrusters and a loading bay. I spent many many many many hours on it only to fail miserably.

Right as I wanted to punch something, I found a little tiny gadget I had missed the entire time: hoverballs, made entirely to make hovercrafts.

More headbutting was had.

Thanks, just checked out the requirements for Witcher 2, will run like **** on my laptop so unfortunately i need to pass, could play witcher 1 but maybe when i get a better laptop

Dunno what they're doing then. Neither do they judging from support. It's back up to full price as far as I can see, but sometimes randomly comes up at 10p again.

I got a message at checkout saying "the price has changed since it was added to the basket" or something. I'll try again tomorrow.
