Awesome! I'm saving the game until next week as reward for finishing my taxes.

I've gotta finish up StS and then get through Balatro before StS2 and Hades2 hit.

If you are going for all achievements, Balatro will take a really long time. Winning a gold stakes run with each joker in a deck will take hundreds of runs, if not in the thousands.

Never understood the people who grind achievements. I sorta get it for someone like moving out where you're being a time but some people seem to really enjoy it.

Mash,
I've a Talos 2 question. I've finished the first set of puzzles (East 1-8). But I still have the Gold gate, lost lab and the two triangles . Are the triangles like the stars in Talos 1? Or something else that I should leave for later?

I also found a flame...

You given this a go, Blue? I've seen mixed things.

Your post reminded me I had the prequel, Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising, on an old hard drive.

Been playing it maybe ~8 hours, fun game but a very grindy, which normally I don't really mind, but the very basic level ups and equipment/town upgrades make it kinda lame, so not sure how long I'll stick with it.

I haven't. Won't really have time to play it for awhile unfortunately. I'm also hearing very mixed things, but knowing me I'll still probably try it out.

A game I played early access and really enjoyed, a HoMM3 style game called Songs of Conquest, leaves early access on May 20th so I might end up playing that instead and waiting for Eiyuden to go on sale.

You can finish all but the golden gate - those can't be unlocked until later.

For the rest (not sure if these are considered spoilers but putting them in tags to be sure)

Spoiler:

Triangles are 'lost puzzles' - they're like the other 8 but not marked on the guidestones so you have to find them. Usually not too hard since they're biggish buidlings like the other puzzles (marked with a triangle instead of a number).

Lost lab has to be found too - some are needed to progress to the next area but if you haven't found it by the time you've entered the tower, a marker will be set for these. Usually a narrow hallway-like thing in a mountain or wall.

Stars are also there - two statues in each area that have various challenges.

I think it's fine to simply continue if you're not sure. Don't worry too much, just focus on the experience. As for the flame you'll probably figure it out sooner or later, it's not vital.

Spoiler:
Also worth mentioning lost labs count towards 8 puzzles needed for progression - so in theory if you struggle with a regular one and solve a triangle one you can continue - I've done so far all of them

I love how different it is.

Thanks Mash! Time to look around. I did find a ghostly mine just floating around in the woods. I don't know why it was there.

It Takes Two is super charming even though though the story and voice acting are gag-worthy. Great to play with your romantic partner, controls are intuitive and no puzzle is too challenging.

The level design is really incredible. We had the most fun just exploring and tinkering around with areas.

I think kids would enjoy the gameplay, for sure. Some puzzles could be tough without adult help. The story is about two parents getting divorced, so I guess be ready for that.

I forgot I added Unbound World's Apart to my WishList until I got an email saying it was on sale for $5

Only about 30 minutes in but would recommend for the price.

OMG, I never noticed the question marks on the compass heading before. I also discovered the purpose of the Sparks.
