Turok isn't Turok if it doesn't have the N64 controller setup.

Turok 2 was the only game I had as a kid that I didn't progress far in. I usually beat most games multiple times growing up. Free time > disposable money.

Turok 2 seemed to have two huge issues:
1) Save spots were few and far between
2) Maps were very maze like with no distinguishing features, making it difficult to figure out where you are, where you've been, and where you need to go.

A plague tale was free on EPIC a few months ago. Unity was also free somewhere a year+ ago.

I beat it under 3 hours, but with this price tag I think it's good enough! It's just more of great cuphead with a new character.

I can recommend picking up Iratus on Epic, it's a freebie until Thursday

the game is basically reversed Darkest Dungeon - you command an army of undead, who cannot get stressed, however your human opponents absolutely can, leading to similiar afflictions as in DD, including an occasional instakill

the structure of the game, on the other hand, is more similiar to something like Slay the Spire, meaning that you explore a map with branching paths, split into chapters. There is, hoewever, DD-style base management and party management.

Overall, Iratus is basically a bunch of ideas taken from other great games, but blended in a really fun way

I should buy Cuphead, it's the sort of game that should appeal to me. Instead I spent nothing in the sale outside of some ETS2 DLC that I didn't already have

Any suggestions on base-building, survival type style games?

Open to playing online/multi-player but would need a good player active player base. Otherwise prefer single-player.

Some suggestions similar to say, Don't Starve.

With the amount of new features added to Oxygen Not Included, it's almost a new game.

Great bundle from 2k if you don't have these games:

keep in mind they're trying to push their launcher and access to these games might change for worse in the future, take it fwiw.

Across the Obelisk - A lot of fun so far. A mix of Slay the Spire and Darkest Dungeon. Seems you can play co-op as well.

Paradox Arc is the indie games branch for Paradox. I got in on the beta test for two games they're working on and I'm really enjoying one of them. I just hope they don't go crazy with DLCs like they do with their bigger games.
