Try Forza Horizon 5 if you have game pass. It's sim-cade, very forgiving, and good wheel implementation. Just crank all the assists to full for your kid. (Older versions of the game have bad wheel implementation and it makes it harder to play).

Wreckfest is also a pretty good wheel-friendly simcade. Crashing into other cars is an intended part of the gameplay so fairly kid friendly in a sense. It may be a bit beyond a 7 year old but worth looking at.

Unfortunately most real arcadey style racing games tend to be harder to play on a wheel because you can't just mash the joystick fully left or right.

Finally tried one of those Yakuza games, because I read they were good.

I just don't get it. 30 minutes before I even got to control anyone, and another 10 or 15 before I got to do anything other than walk around.

Does it get better? I was playing Yakuza 5

Had Yakura: Like a Dragon installed for a while. Not dared touched it yet.

I love rpgs, it's pretty much all I play, but jrpg/turn-based ones never get me. I try occasionally to see the appeal, as they always get rave reviews from weebs on steam, but so far - very long cut-scenes, generic story, repetitive gameplay...

I got in a sale a while ago so decided to download Gloomhavern and give it a try because it has good reviews etc.

This is the hardest game ever made, lol Dark Souls.

I cant get past the second level and to me it does not even seem possible.

I have checked all online guides and tried to get guud.

Its a turn based card based game, but basically it seems unless you are absolutely and utterly perfect on every move then you cant win.

I just completed the Stratosphere challenge today. Took me a few tries to get the landing.

Still haven't been able to do the carrier challenge yet.

Songs of Conquest has been a fun game similar to HoMM. Still very much early access, but I enjoyed both campaigns.
