Ah. Did not realize Drawful 2 was a standalone exclusive (at least until the next jackbox release Im sure.)

Really enjoying Graveyard Keeper. It's been pretty accurately described as Stardew Cemetery. Same art and play style as Stardew Valley, but with a dark sense of humor to it.

Orwell: FGIF4-P6RCY-Z3TJ6

(apparently already owned it)

Oh cool, I remember thinking Orwell looked neat and then promptly forgot about it. Thanks for the heads up, mash!

Had a bit of a moment there when I was linking my steam account to humble bundle in order to get a free copy of Orwell.

are you implying that I'm feminine for enjoying the game?

If so get me a box of tampons on your way home tomorrow because I'm obsessed with this game. Already 42 hours played and nowhere near beating it

Have experienced a few bugs, but nothing game-breaking so far. Most notable one is the inability to destroy old tools after upgrading to new ones so the already limited storage space gets a bit cramped.

I put 200 hrs into Stardew Valley so I'm almost afraid to get it.

Also it reminds me I think I still have one legendary fish yet to catch in SV.

IOI just announced that they are adding all the Hitman (2016) maps/missions into Hitman 2 and they will be updated to take advantage of the new graphics, AI, game mechanics, items, progression, etc. Free for owners of Hitman, otherwise will be a DLC pack.

I have ~160 hours in Hitman (2016). Hitman 2 is going to consume my winter.

Has anybody beaten here beaten The Witness without looking up anything online? I have quit this game a few times already, trying it again, 5 hours in total and begining to feel annoyed again. I'm worried it's a waste of time even though the game is magical and I weirdly like it.

I think I looked up the audio puzzles because they made no ****ing sense (and after looking up the solutions I felt very vindicated for looking them up), but for the most part I think I didn't.

I asked Goofy for a hint once, I think in the greenhouse. I remember thinking I needed the hint and would probably have banged my head against it for a lot longer.

If you enjoy trying to figure it out yourself, there're usually 3-4 different places you can explore at a time, and sometimes you'll get ideas or hints on how to solve other areas. If you keep coming back and not getting it, then I'd go for a hint guide. A quick google search didn't really show much in terms of a minimal spoiler free hint guide, you might try asking on here.

I googled for a hint on the first of the Sun temple puzzles. I just couldn't figure out what I needed to do. Seemed obvious after the fact. There was also a tree branch shadow puzzle I just couldn't figure out. My problem with solving these puzzles was just over thinking the solution.

My daughter solved the particular tree branch puzzle in 5 seconds. I spent hours...

I always thought the puzzles in Witness were very reasonable. Unlike the puzzles in many adventure games of the past.

I got stuck playing The Witness and stepped away from the game. I'll try again later but if I keep being stumped I will google for some help.
I also take regular breaks from other puzzle games like TIS-100 or Infinifactory when hitting my head against a wall stops being fun.

I looked up the first green house puzzle (you know the one), some of the monastery ones and some of the environmental ones. Don't think it's possible to 100% without looking up

And I could never complete the timed challenge near the end as much as I tried... and tried.

I haven't gotten close to finishing it, but I guarantee my 15-17 year old self would have no problem 100% it without having to look anything up. I would resort to trial and error on everything if need be.

Get back to me when you figure out the ship puzzle Let's talk about Stream and buy mountains of games (don't think it's in the top 10 most obtuse/hardest either)

Another puzzle that I've tried a ton of stuff but have not solved. And I know exactly what I need to do.

I gave up on it because I don't like line puzzles that much and am usually too stubborn to look stuff up.

I finished Talos though so it seems up my alley and will probably revisit.

I used zero cheats on the Talos DLC. But I would look up answers after completing a world. I noticed my solution was often fairly different than the official solution. Especially when the answer involved using multiple areas to get a star.

A great great puzzle game.

I'd agree with this, while also noting that you don't need to 100% to beat the game. iirc, you only need to complete 9 of 11 areas (or something like that) to get into the mountain?

Anyway, there is a thread buried somewhere if people start playing again and want to bump it to ask questions. It's still one of my favorite games of the last several years, though I've also not felt much desire to go back and play it again. I did notice they added a "point and click" mode (like, click on a spot and you walk there) as an alternative to the original FPS-ish controls.

Seems like a rough way to spend 2 of your teenage years. Somehow I have The Witness in my library, should try it some point, maybe after i try Talos which I actually bought
