Bought FFVI when it came out on Steam without knowing it was a mobile port and it is basically unplayable for me. Thought it was cool that Chrono Trigger was released until I saw it was also a mobile port. Lol Square Enix. Do not want.

When they did the FFX computer rerelease they included all the international additions, and had options where you could fast forward. Eugh, fun looking game but enough with the pixel style already. This is a game about the precise imparting of information but on some turns everything is just a splodge of red pixels and it's super difficult to work out whats going on as a direct consequence of the art style.

Square Enix doesn't give a **** about PC, the reason FFX and FF12 were good is because they were ports of remastered editions for consoles.

That's still no excuse, obviously a modern smartphone should be able to crush a remaster of a SNES game, but it's a sign of where they see their market.

Into the breach is brilliant - don't see how the art style makes it difficult to work out what's going on. Every time you line up a move it shows you just what'll happen if you perform it.

Sure it can be tough to see all the consequences, but that's the point of the game and not down to the art style.

Only played it for about an hour so far though, so there may be scenarios where it gets more difficult to keep track that I just haven't seen yet.

Looks like this'll be another classic so far though - every move is like a new puzzle game.
