It's one of a kind and probably now considered one of best indie classics.

Bought FFVI when it came out on Steam without knowing it was a mobile port and it is basically unplayable for me. Thought it was cool that Chrono Trigger was released until I saw it was also a mobile port. Lol Square Enix. Do not want.

I don't get it.

When they did the FFX computer rerelease they included all the international additions, and had options where you could fast forward. Look I love the game, and wouldn't dare fast forward any part of my initial play through...but a second play through the fast forward button was a god send. I enjoyed playing through FFX again (still need to grind out the end optional bosses).

Rerelease FF6. Include the bonus dungeons from the GBA FF6. Use SNES graphics. Include a fast forward button, I would snap snap buy it. I mean that can't be that much coding these days right? Why be lazy with a mobile port? Same deal with Chrono Trigger.

Eugh, fun looking game but enough with the pixel style already. This is a game about the precise imparting of information but on some turns everything is just a splodge of red pixels and it's super difficult to work out whats going on as a direct consequence of the art style.

Had no idea FFX was rereleased.

I downloaded FF6 on my ipad and thoroughly enjoyed it.

FF12: Zodiac Age was also released to Steam. I've only played for 10 minutes, but from what I've read online it is one of the best JRPGs from last 10 years.

Yeah I was really turned off by the art style but i read some about the game and it sounds pretty awesome so I’ll probably get it on sale.

Square Enix doesn't give a **** about PC, the reason FFX and FF12 were good is because they were ports of remastered editions for consoles.

That's still no excuse, obviously a modern smartphone should be able to crush a remaster of a SNES game, but it's a sign of where they see their market.

Into the breach is brilliant - don't see how the art style makes it difficult to work out what's going on. Every time you line up a move it shows you just what'll happen if you perform it.

Sure it can be tough to see all the consequences, but that's the point of the game and not down to the art style.

Only played it for about an hour so far though, so there may be scenarios where it gets more difficult to keep track that I just haven't seen yet.

Looks like this'll be another classic so far though - every move is like a new puzzle game.

Yeah picking on pixel art is just looking for faults where they don't exist

Personally, I think the art is ugly. It was fine in FTL since it didn't have much details, but it way too undetailed here. I'd be fine if I never saw another 8-pixel imitation.

It reminds be a little of the game "Advanced Wars" but with more nuance.

Just based on the demo video it has an MOM look to it too, which is of course awesome.
