Yeah it's disappointing but Bioware isn't Bioware any more. All the important people are now gone from the company or not working on ME, it's Bioware in name only.
People say it's the best Battle Royale game for the moment. I got a random beta key so I played a bit and while the game still needs more polish, it is indeed very fun.
I don't like perpetual early access games, so I won't buy it yet, but as of right now:
Performance is meh. I normally get 60 frames with everything on low except textures on v high (low textures make the game run worse). Some places just kill frames tho, presumably due to bugs (like a particular bridge that takes away a good 40 FPS by just looking at it). My specs are a 970 and a 2500k. But I heard they plan on working on it very hard.
Rounds are around 20 minute long. Duos is just way more fun than solo tho, but the game still gives you a very good rush in any mode. Time to kill is short and ambushing someone is pretty much an auto kill. Long distance fights are very cool with bullets snapping and trying to pinpoint where the enemy is shooting from. Or the feeling of tracking someone and then sniping them while they loot something.
Servers are decent but you still get some lag here and there with 100 people. As soon as some die the lag goes away. Cars are arcadey and heavy, but bounce oddly (some small rocks can flip a car) due to a bug i think.
Loot can be frustrating, as sometimes you loot 3 full buildings and only get a pistol, while another dude finds a rifle in his first room, but that is just part of the game. It seems some areas have better drops, so it's usually better to plan ahead.
I hate 3rd person in this, because it makes everything a peekfesst. People hugging walls so they can look around corners or over walls. It gives defenders a big advantage. But they said First person only server are incoming.
Animations are bad, gunplay is good but can still improve a ton. You need to aim down sights to hit anything, so the constant switch from 3rd person to first person in annoying imho. At times it also feels clunky, it doesn't have a perfect feeling where the avatar does exactly what you want. No idea how to describe it. Again, they said they are working hard on it.
Patching was very good, they had 3 or 4 weekends of beta and had a new patch every time. For the moment I prefer to watch the games on twitch tho, solo didn't grip me and had pretty much no good duo games.
Couldn't resist The Witness Humble Monthly deal. I really wish HB stopped doing that, I have gotten so many games in recent months from them because of that.
Anyone know how to force Steam to download an update to the Steam client? It says "A steam client update is available, and is now being downloaded" but isn't progressing at all. It's been this way for weeks every time I try to update the client.

Chivalry free for 24 hours, it's an AMAZING game although very flawed. You should get at least 10 hours of fun in 'noob' servers (for people lower than level 15). Afterwards you'll most likely encounter 'pros' who are basically unbeatable. Still highly recommended for initial experience.
Overlord free, steam key. RPG/TPP, 94% over ~2k reviews.
Thanks.
As for the "anime"-sale on steam, I can fully recommend Danganronpa (1&2). Basically group of kids are locked on the school. Evil mastermind: "Kill someone without getting caught = get out."
Game is split between free time, where you walk around school, talk to people etc. and cases where you investigate and figure out the killer. Game is linear, with main focus on story.
Here is some example gameplay from the demo, it won't spoil, don't worry.
