I'm not sure enemies even have levels? I think the mission level is just an advice.

Ring of metal is the only place I've encountered invisible walls so far (and lots of them), tho I'm not hugely far ahead of there yet. I have done quite a lot of random exploration / mountain climbing though, and usually you can get anywhere until you are at the edge of the map and it tells you to turn back.

Whole groups are aggroing if you get spotted. You can certainly still be seen even crouching in long grass if you're shooting them or they were already on to you.

What is wrong with the mounts?

Go to focus mode and hover over a mob, it'll show what I assume is the level of the mob. Like the bellowbacks are 18 that I've seen.

As I said before, mounts handle terribly. Nothing much to expand upon there.

I love the game, hate the title. They should've gone with Apoca****storm.

Mounts steer automatically to follow roads. If it seems to handle poorly, it may just be that it's trying to steer back onto the road when you momentarily release the left stick. You can turn this off in the settings, but it's on by default.

I just picked this up for $5.29 after a $5 coupon from Best Buy...I barely started and the graphics look great, controls may take a bit getting used to. Any early game warnings I need to be aware of lol?

May be worth it to look into a guide for builds. I think that’s where I messed up and lost interest, because the play style I enjoyed early on became unusable after a few hours.

I doubt it for you Spimp13. If anything I'd suggest putting it on very hard right away.

Thanks guys

Loki, when you say build do you mean the stat allocation? I did printout what I want to do for my first 15 upgrade points.

I started on normal, but maybe I need to bump the difficulty up if it is pretty easy. I am still in the beginning tutorial so I haven't really gotten into it yet.

As someone who owns the base game it is ****ing ridiculous that the DLC is $27 but the Complete version with the base game + DLC is $30. Has put me off playing the game so far.

According to psprices.com the DLC is $19.99 and often $14.99 for PS+ members. https://psprices.com/region-us/game/...e-frozen-wilds

It says the whole complete editon is only $19.99 https://psprices.com/region-us/game/...mplete-edition

Are you quoting prices in Zimbabwe Dollars plus tax or something?

The DLC takes place after the main game I believe (I haven't played it yet but it's in the backlog). Don't think there's any advantage to having it during a normal playthough, not 100% sure.

This game is so hard great great game I love the beginning let you know more if I ever beat it. I rarely play games all the way through so guess that’s my review.

Yeah, precisely.

I went really stealthy like but soon ran out of places in which to effectively be stealthy.

It’s excellent, I only got slightly bored towards the very end because I really didn’t mix up my weapons very much so it had been 40 or whatever hours of the same combat patterns (the enemies being fairly dynamic mitigated this to a degree). I feel like right now I’m mainly into first and third person action games that aren’t overly complex and this one was right in the sweet spot.

I absolutely loved HZD! There are very few games that can match it wrt the total immersion feeling this game gives off from the start. I think it says something about a game that even once you do get access to unlimited fast travel, you still prefer to just experience the game world from point A to B because it is so much fun.

Only stopped playing when I somehow managed to stumble into what I'm pretty sure is a non-dlc end game boss called a death something or other when I was way too underpowered to kill it.

I will definitely get back to it soon, probably after I finally 100% FO4 after putting off putting serious time into it b/c I foolishly believed Bethesda and Sony when they said mods were coming to consoles.

Also wrt to the DLC. I'm pretty sure the recommended level to access the game area for it is the level cap for the game. So you can essentially finish off the main camoaign and then decide to do the dlc.
