I don't think they've given a release date yet, other than sometime between now and closed beta, which is in January.

Wow, founder pack is a pretty big rip off. Feel bad for people getting in this late (or... having to buy their way in I guess I should say).

Cyber wolf is cool but sucks being forced into that many cosmetic buys.

bundles are awfull for heroes of the storm, they should give a 50€ pack that give you most heroes minus the last few ones maybe. anything more than that is supper greedy

It's basically the worst bundle (battle bundle, I think) that comes with beta access. So in a sense, Blizzard's giving out beta access as long as people are willing to buy a pricey bundle. It really should've been the nexus bundle or something more useful. I feel like if they really wanted to make bank, they could've made a separate bundle with its own exclusive mount. Then some people already in the beta would want to buy it.

I bought one discounted bundle right after the last wipe which was worth it but the rest is really bad especially since you don't get discounts on bundles if you already own a hero.

So I'm a very experienced LoL player and I have a beta invite and I haven't used yet, any reason for me to get into HotS? I love some the mechanics they've added by removing last hitting, items, etc.. How good is the overall solo queue experience, afks, etc.? How bad are the affects of bad teammates compared to LoL?

Haven't played LoL but came from HoN. Because there are no items, carrying alone is nearly impossible. Most games are complete crushes one way or the other. Wouldn't really recommend this game, I got bored very quickly playing alone.

If you signed up for the alpha/beta, it's possible to get an invite for free. If you want to play ASAP and weren't invited, then the only option is to buy the founder's pack for $40.

Blizzard did and their track record to get more people to play a certain genre is pretty good. Current hardcore moba players will hate it but that is not where the money is anyway.
