Been having a blast since the last server wipe. Broke into someone's base on a medium pop server and used it for a while until i got raided. Tonight's patch looks really good with the weapon adjustments and anti-grief building dynamics.

Decided not to build another base and just use random stashes hidden in the ground outside major cities so i can regear quicker.

I stole an idea from a stream on twitch where you just build the basic shacks and leave your door open outside of hot spots like pleasant PD and run in if you need safety. Kinda weak but it works great when outnumbered.

Bought this yesterday. So ****** laggy getting like probably 15-20 fps on low settings with an Intel i7 dual-core 8GB RAM laptop. Also servers either crash randomly or just freeze when you try to join. Looks like the game has a lot of potential but right now definitely not worth twenty bucks.

No idea why you'd get such low FPS. The game is surprisingly well optimized at this point. I get 50-90 FPS at 1920x1200 on a GTX 770. Also, the servers don't crash, the client does. Client stability has taken a dump since last patch but I'm sure they'll have it back to the way it was within a week.

Right now I'm trying to get good at battle royale. But it's so hard playing on very low graphics since everything's pixelated and it's hard to aim the AR. Not to mention most of the guys I've encountered once it gets down to like 20 left are teamed up.

I've probably played 12 as well. Surviving the early stage is easy, surviving late stage is not. Furthest I've gotten was like 18th.

I think the game crashes sometimes when you die. I was scavenging then I heard the sound of a car behind me. I was in the middle of turning around then it crashed.

Are you ****ing kidding me I camped the entire game in the woods with a car/lots of gear got to final 13 without even seeing anyone then the game crashed.

Yeah same thing happened to me earlier... Got to top 10 then woopdiedoop, client crash.

I've got first place 3 times and I'm ashamed to say it was because my friend carried me... He jerks off to BR and knows every single car spawn. That's the most important thing honestly. If you want to win you avoid the early gunfights and go straight for the vehicle.

Yep just happened again. So tilting. Btw I'm usually avoiding people/camping in bushes after I get all my gear and only move when the toxic gas forces me to. I'm assuming that's the smart thing to do? Or are you supposed to not play like a pussy.

I played 2.
first one I had video settings on super low and spawned in the ****ing middle of the forest and died from toxic gas.
second I dropped my compass because I thought it was useless, and then didn't knew where north was and died from toxic gas.

played reg mod. spawned at the forest. while eating cookies IRL and running trying to find a road or house a bear saw me and started chasing me. I tried anything but the mother****er wouldn't let go. Eventually stamina ended and the ****er killed me.

second reg mod I was on fire killed 2 mother****ers and had a lot of food/bandages a bow w/30 arrows, random ****, a sniper(1 ammo), and a pistol(no ammo)

then 2 guys show up, only 1 was talking. I put my hands so they know I'm friendly. They both pull their pistols. I'm ****ing shacking, I pull my sniper. The guy says "we know you have no bullets". I have 1 bullet and my bow. I fire my only button at the mother****er who was talking and run away. I heard a couple pistol shots but never saw those 2 guys again.

Then I'm dieing because I'm dehydrated. So I find a river and fill all my bottles with dirty water. I drink that **** and take some pills and I'm good.

Then 3 MOTHER****ERS come at me, they all have pistols and 1 has AR15. They kill me and steal my **** and 1 yells in my own ****ing language: "**** you son of a bitch".

That's what it's like to be a noob.
The bear was def the most painful death

Best thing to do is get a vehicle early at all costs. Once you have one you can drive to some exterior vehicle/loot points and get another gas can and your AR + ammo. Then what I like to do is sit on the edge of the gas and move inwards as it starts to come closer. That way you can never really get snuck up on and your enemies will always be in front of you.

If you don't get a vehicle then yeah, unfortunately playing like a bitch is the best way to get top 12. Once you die to some people camping in blackberry bushes you realize how effective it is.

I think it'd be cool if they gave prizes for most distance traveled on foot, and most kills to discourage camping.

This! Not that I'm any good at shooting though. It's weird I'm OK at counterstrike and COD but I can't facking shoot for shieeet in this game. Just now I was camping in an apartment I heard a door open so I hid behind a corner. I saw him he didn't see me I emptied an entire clip of AR15 in his direction but he still killed me.

That feeling when you're killed by an airstrike in the top 8 and you can't even see the bomber cause you're playing on very low settings...
