Ok I'm confused. Why does helping out with these random events around the city cost you money? Just recused a stolen purse from a perp and returned it to the owner and I saw it costs me 1800 dollars. Shouldn't I be getting a reward for doing these good deeds? Wtf?

You did - you just weren't looking when you got +2k for picking up the purse. When you give it back, they give you a $200 reward.

$2000 > $200 so I'm taking the purse.

re stock market assassination:

just made like 900k on vapid between michael and franklin. And thats even with not investing in debonaire with michael and blowing a lot of cash on properties. If you do the heist well and then all the assassination missions and investing with both, you can make millions overall

Couldn't connect to BAWSAQ last night, haven't been able to get on Social Club in about two days, iFruit app is pretty useless.

Missed out on cash from a stock tip because BAWSAQ was "down for maintenance", which means I'm not connected to PSN which of course I was.

Other than that, this game is consuming my life.

just finished the main game, didn't finish all of the side missions. 10/10. glad they put heists in this. i've always wanted a heist game and this one did a good job. glad they have 2 options for each heist so i can go back. i think i need a break though.

Last night Ifruit was working for me and the cars I customized showed up this morning when I logged in. I think the servers can't handle the load at peak times and that worries me for when online starts.

I just did that vapid assasination, noticed their stock price plummeted after the kill so I should buy it all up now and it will climb back to normal right?

Is it possible to go back in time to do these missions and take advantage of the stock market at the same time?

I havent replayed an old mission yet, I wonder what happens after you complete it, probably just back to your normal progression.

Yeah, the vapid stock is the only one you should buy after the mission, then it will recover massively, I had something like 150-200% roi on that


Not sure about replaying missions/assassinations, havent tried it

late game mission spoiler

i enjoyed every mission up until michael's family reunion, i was happy when they moved out and didn't have to hear their voices, especially the jonah hill guy, i skipped pretty much all of the cut scenes in that situation and had to rescue michaels daughter in her room from a gunman, i ended up killing her about 5 times and didn't even care but mission failed so i had to save her eventually, but that whole sequence of missions makes me want trevor to take out michaels whole family, the red carpet bull**** and all that was just annoying to play through
