Can I get a brief summary of how the economy works? I keep hearing little things about stock markets, buying businesses, buying houses, building an empire, etc. how deep does that really go?

What happens after you finish the story? Does the game end or does it just become an open world/sandbox where you go around stealing cars and flying planes?

And if you finish the story, couldn't you just restart the game?

It doesn't become an open world/sandbox where you can do what you want as it's like that all along But yes, after the story is done, you're still free to roam about and do as you please.

Of course - but then you'd lose all the stuff/abilities you've collected/built up during the game and start from scratch again.
Whether or not you "rush through" the story or not is just a personal preference - I prefer to portion it out, doing a short burst of story missions and then a lot of whatever I want in between.

Yeah, I purchased the PS3 bundle with GTA, so this is my first experience with the PS3 controller and that (the controller in general, but primarily the emphasis on the shoulder buttons) is the only thing I'm not happy with.

shooting range is pretty easy once you realise just holding down fire for an automatic weapon is a bad idea. Just have to tap to get +300 with every shot

broke down and bought it today after reading this thread for the past 2 days. wife is working this weekend and i'll have some time to play. probably play it 20-30 hours over the next few weeks and forget about it like i have with every other game i've purchased in the last 2-3 years.

the challenge for the pistol (think its the combat pistol) where you have to get 20k on the moving targets for gold, is ridic hard unless maybe im doing something wrong.
