very impressed. 3 hours just flew by. shooting range fun, some kinda tough. not sure what value increasing the shooting stats has but it has to count for something!

Prob 100 people were in line. Also the last time I will ever use Gamestop. It is taking about 20min to install. Its all good. Had to adjust the TV video settings for the brightness level. GTAV is live!

midnight release at walmart wwent smooth, showed up around 1130 and was probably 10th in a line that swelled to approximately 60 by the time i was leaving

i did the a mission or 2 then just ran around stealing ****. car to boat, drive all around then up the LA river. got out- apparently the water is toxic and hurts you badly haha

then up up in a helicopter and just slowly turned around on the tallest building i could find. The world is seamless and beautiful

First gameplay mission was flawless.

Now game continues to freeze at Franklin and Lamar scene. Often times within seconds.

the new controls and new hud are going to take some getting used to. but really i cant stop playing, and im not even doing missions.

have a feeling im going to be having dreams about this game for the next month or so.

edit: dawade, i didnt have any issues like that. but why did you stop posting in the nba threads?

Just deleted/re-installed the install disc.

Made it about 5 minutes further in my Franklin/Lamar mission and then the game completely froze again.

I don't have enough HD space to install both discs (even if it isn't recommended), so I can't say if that would fix anything or not.

i want to get this but i'm afraid i'll pop it in, play for two hours then get sick of it and be out 60 quid. looks stellar though.

Get a 16GB USB stick for like 20 bucks, stick it in, it will format for the XBox. And you can install the game on there.
