So tried pre-ordering today at Target (yes, a bit too late, I know) and they said they're not taking anymore preorders this close to the release of the game. Asked if they'll have plenty of copies left after all the preorders are picked up and he said they should have plenty.

Am I being paranoid that all stores are gonna be out of copies once all the preorders are picked up? Anyone try preordering within last few days? Anyone just gonna try and pick up the game on Tuesday without having preordered? Man, this game may severely affect my schoolwork lol.

This has gotta be the most hyped videogame EVER, no?

It's absolutely hilarious because my cousin is a MASSIVE GTA fan and cancelled his amazon pre-order a few days ago so he could queue up at midnight instead as he couldn't wait.

I have been texting him images of the post and game disc non stop lol.

Too much IMO, 7-9 million max. GTA 4 (in better times) sold 3.5 million in the US on launch day and GTA SA sold less. It's a travesty, but mediocre non-games like COD sell really well, even in comparison to quality and highly-anticipated games like the GTA series.

Friend across road from me his game arrived from Amazon today. If I got his disc that needs to be installed before you play and installed it to my Xbox so I didn't have to wait for >2 hours to play on release night this is fine right as everyone gets the same 2 discs?

They were dispatched yesterday as they had some free (in time for release date) delivery promise promotion on, in the UK anyway.

Looking at my facebook it seem's quite a lot of people got their copy today from them.

They are probably going to be one of the biggest sellers for the game online (and they are massive) so they probably don't even care if they sent it out too early.
