i know that after nba 2k was out for several months and the price was down to 49.99 in the stores, it was still 59.99 on psn.

the only problem of buying online is that we dont get the blueprint map.

I should note that I haven't read the thread or watched the video or anything so I'm not sure if any of that is confirmed or not, I'm just passing it along. Even if half of those dot points are true this game is going to be the untouchable game of this generation.

yeah i ended up listening to it as well as some of the interview they did with leslie benzies and it's all pretty much confirmed and i lost my mind.

cvg actually went to rockstar north and saw a demo/interviewed benzies

I'm probably an idiot, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy an xbox 360 solely for the purposes of this game. I've played virtually no games for the past few years (have a wii and an original xbox), but I spent a ton of time playing GTA Vice City and loved it. This game looks amazing.

i seriously doubt it. imagine the load on the server that day. i really expect psn to just completely ****ing crash.

i was reading some of the comments on rockstars page, and one guy was saying the loading with a digital copy would be noticably faster than the disc, and that the disc (any disc) burns out the laser inside the console that reads them or some ****. idk.

It seems like I am not the only person who finds themselves needing to purchase a console for the sole purpose of playing this game. I have gone through 2-3 ps3's due to the YLOD and even after fixing a couple, am not going through that process again to have it break in 2 months.

Going to try and figure out the best way to enjoy this game to the utmost in terms of 360 vs. ps3, disk vs. dl, etc.

I am not really seeing what value I am gaining by going with the 360 and paying about 40% more overall vs. the ps3. However, if you purchase the disk, could you then opt to download the game instead?

Whoa, Larry, you blew my mind with the PS3 offer. I don't think I'm interested in online gaming (should I be?), so that looks perfect for me.

Online gaming is free on ps3, so if you want to GTA V online you are all set. There are also games you can download and play that are less than disc games, such as BF 1943 and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix which are both between $10-$20 and a good time ime.

Don't forget if you sign up for the PSN network and pay the yearly fee you get two free games a month.

Also make sure you buy a PS Vita, some Sony branded heaphones and a brand new Sony Bravia to enjoy all your Sony related content on.
