Pretty sure everyone with an older console will have to do that if you don't want mass glitches

noob question, since i know very little about electronics. but if the bolded ends up being true, would we still need to put the game in the system?

is rockstar taking a shot at themselves at the end, when roman calls about bowling? if so, that's pretty funny.

That wasn't too bad tbh, a bit overdone in places but solid effort overall.

Re: GTA V - releases September 17

Is it just me, or is GTA 3 better than vc / sa / 4?

I think the story was better, and liked the city more. I think the smaller city gave more of a chance to get to know all the back alleys and crevices or whatever. As well as gave it more character.

Opinions vary.

They were all solid games.

Character switching modded into GTA 4. If modders can get it this smooth in a month or two I have no doubt that the transitions in the trailer for 5 are real time.

I also like the vehicle physics in 3 more than in the other games. Sometimes while power steering or something it just felt like you were driving on ice or something, just didn't feel right.

Actually, JuntMonkey posted the correct list a while back, verified by Richard Tanner:

PSA: The Stories games are both available as PS2 Classics on PSN. If you want to return to Vice City or old-school Liberty City, go for it.

I just bought these on psn and having only played about 2 hours of VCS I can confirm it's awesome.

Re: GTA V - releases September 17

VCS is amazing, I might get lynched on this but it's almost better than VC, I spent so much longer playing it on the psp and it's amazing that you can have a full sandbox like that on a handheld.

LCS was also very enjoyable but it wasn't nearly as big or nearly as much of an improvement.

Unrelated, but if you haven't played China Town wars you should, I know a lot of people were a bit uneasy about the look and style of the game (I was before I played it), but it's still a lot of fun and you're missing out as a GTA fan if you don't play it imo. It's sort of like the equivalent of a GTA 4: stories from Liberty City.

Vice city was a little too corny for me (not that it's not still great).

This is the only game I want to play. Since the days of playing GTA 1 in 1997, I really hope this is the best game of the series.

Can't remember what driving was like in III, but played SA and IV recently and IV's driving is by far better imo. Nothing better than tearing along in a Banshee or Sabre GT, dab the handbrake to flick out the back end, and power down round the corner with tyres smoking and flames spitting out the exhaust. In SA you could drive everywhere with the pedal to the floor, in IV it took skill to drive fast. IIRC in V they're making it easier to drive, just hope they don't go too far
