Was grinding races earlier w fisc_de and namblagambla and some random. Did about an hour of races. Would either replay one or choose another one. Prefer the off-road races and motorcycle races. Plane races areaight but I suck at helicopter races. Probably made like $60,000 and went from lvl 31 to 33. Was fun having people not choose free mode after 1 race.

So, is grinding races pretty much the best way to make money? I wanna buy a tank but it's a cool 1.5 million. I have like 350k. I have a long way to go if I'm going to grind. Any missions that have big payouts and are quick and easy?

And when do we get the ****ing heists????

Was fun, I raped the plane and chopper missions. I don't think I lose chopper races very often when they have a decent number of turns.

Imo yes, but I haven't really done any jobs or missions. I wouldn't be up for grinding them out though.

Race xp and $$$ payouts are determined by the highest level player in the race. Try and get some higher level players into your lobby.

I'm horrible at helicoper races. Even went back to "flight school" in story mode to pick up some tips but without much success. Still fun once in a while and I'm usually happy if I finish it without being DQed for taking too much time...

Spend all my money on the Entity XF and some upgrades earlier and after racing for an hour or two I'm already back at 100k. Grinding 1.5 million is going to take a while, though.

There's a great 3 store route in East Vinewood that's worth about 60k/hr.

robbing stores for 60k an hour? Pretty much averaging one store a minute for 1k each? lol

Bigt2k4 (nambla?) - how you so good at helicopter races? It feels like I always go soooo slow in helicopters. Do you push up on the left analog to accelerate better? I thought you use R2 for acceleration but that's in planes. In helicopters R2 and L2 are for changing altitude?? Do I just have to increase my flying stats? And I kinda like bicycle races. Know we didn't do any, but played against 3 randoms once and we kept repeating that bicycle race through the construction zone and I kept getting first.

Do you guys like having it set at 2 laps for the shorter races? I was hosting and I like 2 laps for shorter courses, especially if it's one I'm not familiar with.

Would be cool if they had triathlons in online also. Got my stimulus package. Bought a $200k apartment right in center of the map. Don't know what I'm gonna spend the remaining $300K on..

Can you remove silencers from weapons?

Ya, if you just hit R2 you go nowhere, so hold up on the analog to pitch the chopper down while holding R2 and then if you need to climb up a bit just let up slightly on the analog (pull back to climb a lot) stick (never let go of R2 unless you need to dive downward). When turning use both L1 or R1 and the left analog.

i think you can remove them, haven't added many. Just go to Ammunation and click on the silencer you have to remove it, no?

Was really disappointed there isn't basketball as a mini game in gta v. They coulda added basketball at vespucci beach in the beach bum pack. Pretty sure there's a basketball court there like in it's real world counterpart. Can't imagine programming basketball mini game would be that difficult.

How badass would it be to play basketball as Trevor in single player mode? I guess more like lolawesome moreso than awesome.

I feel ya. I've had races also where I'm in a pretty good lead only to have a random car appear outta nowhere and **** me over. That's why I like motorbike/motorcycle races. Much easier to avoid random cars. Only downside is running into a corner of a wall or something full speed on a bike.

Except that motorbike race through the subway tunnels. I must crash minimum of like 5 times each time I play that one.

The easiest I have found are spamming 1 lap races of down the drain and criminal records. With 3-5 of you.

Depending on the level of those you are racing you can get 10+k for a 2min lap or 30 sec lap (criminal records)

Your mates being higher ranks will help. My mate went from rank 5 to ~15 in one night
