He's prob right about hacking, heard about people being invincible amongst other things on forums, just hope it doesn't get to GTA4 levels where you randomly get teleported miles in the air, set on fire etc

the key to getting kills is head shots, auto aim then lean back a bit with the reticle. one shot one kill



anybody been given a dunce hat yet? I was playing with mates the other night and it said i was a bad sport and kicked me from their server and said i couldn't join them for like 36 hours.

think its a ****ing joke because blowing people up is what gta is about. cant even rip about and sticky bomb some ****** who is mowing you down every 2 secs with a sub machine gun or else you get banned from playing with your friends

Was just driving my car and it said I had been kicked from the game by other players. I went back in and spawned by my car but right next to my car was an identical car except all bullet riddled.

Even had same plate number.

Thanks for letting me in your apt, first one I've seen since I still only have $60k. Didn't mean to bail from your car, was trying to pull up my phone and hit wrong button. But the first car that came along was one Simeon wanted (first time finding one of those), so I ended up with extra 9k

Also sucked at that gang hideout, only ammo I had on me was for the pistol

fyi: GTA IV Complete Edition is on sale on steam right now(75% off).

Just bought it, since I only own the PS3 version without the DLCs. Not sure if I will ever actually install/play it, though.

In online mode I always try to fill my garage w/ the 3 cars I've modded and the rest are one's that can be sold for $8k+. The Gallivanter Baller is by far the most popular that I keep and sell, but I've noticed there are 2 different Gallivanter Ballers. They not only look different, but they also have different stats.

Anyone else noticed this?

Had my first real session last night with 7 friends, we did a mission where you have to get a briefcase from the roof of a skyscraper..... we took 5 minutes to climb the ladders and then got gunned down at the top. assuming a helicopter might be needed for this mission?

Yeah, the hospital with the helipad is only a few blocks away from that construction site. It helps if someone in your group is high enough rank to spawn a Buzzard attack chopper.

Or call Merryweather for a helicopter pick up ($ 1K) and kill the pilot.

Pretty sure it's not other players that are kicking me. Just got kicked in my apartment. I even get kicked by other players in solo mode...
Patch 1.05 and still the same connectivity problems it seems. Timed out twice while trying to get online (my connection is 100%) and just got kicked in my apartment. I almost made it to the door, lol.

I saw this morning that GTAV Xbox360 disc 1 and disc 2 are available at Redbox. It never made sense to me why they didn't release it right away with the ps3 version.
