Putting a few sticky bombs on your car and then suicide bombing people while they are getting into their car after robbing a store is perhaps the greatest thing ever. Pure fun. Gets people really extremely rustled, haha

Love this game but it seems to takes ages to get a race or mission going. And almost nobody seems to understand the concept of grinding. I know you guys do
Can I join? I'm pjetro76 on PS3.

I tried to keep repeating the race but I guess they got bored and quit.

Online has so much potential but from what I can see has been a letdown because of some pretty poor game design. Missions / deathmatch yield very little cash in comparison to races, are more time consuming, and have hidden costs in the form of ammo and armor purchases which make them pretty worthless. The biggest problem though has to be the matchmaking. There's no way I should struggle to find a SINGLE PLAYER to join one of my jobs when this game broke sales records and has only been out for a couple of months. Rockstar ought to be embarrassed.
Yeah that was me. I don't really like just playing the same race over and over so went to play something else. I've also been struggling the past week to find people to join races. Deathmatches are even worse. It feels like there aren't actually that many people playing. The most I've managed to get into a deathmatch has been 4. It's still fun but I was expecting more.

I always select join but when I do, I end up in a lobby on my own as the host, presumably because there's no-one else wanting to play whatever it is. The easiest way I've found is to go to Join Job, but then it's usually people grinding Down the drain or Criminal records, which get boring.

Normally I grind different races but I was blown away by how much cash we were making for just a two minute run with three of us. Even coming in last was getting us $3k a pop. The track itself is one of the better ones around too imo, and since it was only one lap each race I didn't think people would get bored of it that quickly. If I see you on later though I'll invite you and we'll do different races.

My only real complaint about the game is the time it takes in between races when I am grinding. You have to wait for everyone to hit continue, then everyone has to vote on what mission they want to do, & then you wait for everyone to pick their car. They can cut down on the time allotments for these and the one where you vote on which mission to do next should automatically go to the mission once it can't get out voted mathematically (so if 7 ppl in group and 4 vote to replay then we stop waiting and go to replay whatever we were doing).

I'm in the bad sport lobby. Free mode seems more fun and it's more people just ****ing around trying to have fun. While that's great, the thing that sucks is that I can't join my friends because they aren't bad sports like me. Lame. Pointless feature there rockstar. Punish the people that wanna be free and have fun. Freemode isn't free. Isn't blowing up **** and causing mayhem what gta is all about?

I found some hacker today, he killed me twice due to weird issues getting out of my car (not hacking- I just don't normally get killed), then I got him and emptied a 60 round clip into him with the carbine rifle... he didn't die and then after I reloaded and was shooting him more he killed me with the smg?

Followed him around more and got killed twice more by him despite getting the first shots on him with a stronger weapon.

^ Maybe he had better armor or called Brucie for a testosterone shot. Or both
Quote:
Brucie appears in GTA Online and contacts the character after they reach rank 17, informing them that he will order Bullshark testosterone of which the player can then phone Brucie for him to deliver. The bullshark testosterone doubles damage dealt and cuts damage taken by half for about 1 minute.
I remember this being unlocked but didn't try it out yet. Gonna order myself some testosterone today!

I emptied an entire clip into him though (60 shots with the carbine)

Highly unlikely you hit him with even close to all 60 shots though.

Testosterone makes more sense than a hacker imo.

I wasn't that far from him, I have a maxed out shooting stat. I reloaded and was shooting him more when he started shooting at me. I got hit normally and I noticed his health bar was still full
