Good to hear. So far I haven't had any issues either, but the aiming is a littly clunky and enemies are pretty accurate so I can envision some really annoying missions later on.

Me too - I haven't tried auto aim but I would think the game would be way too easy using that.

I did have problems seeing the aiming reticle though - even when turning on the one that is bigger. It may be my tv but it blended into the background and got lost very easily.

I found that setting the aiming sensitivity really low helped a lot for free aiming. I have it 3 ticks above the minimum

playing SP would only help your irl skill at the game.

no skills/stats/money/weapons etc transfer between sp and online characters. you start from scratch online

Just jump into online imo.
You'll have to complete a couple of quick missions to get started.
Races are nice right from the start, because you're not at an disadvantage due to lack of weapons. Can also pick weapons up during deathmatch.
Every job has a required rank, which represents the level you have to be to START it. People of every level are free to join. The rank gives you a good idea of the difficulty when it comes to missions, but you'll be able to contribute positively well under playing it smart.
A good number of even more advanced missions pretty much only require driving or flying from part of the team anyway.
People can also drop you weapons and ammo in missions.

You'll level up super quickly with higher ranked races and missions.

When you reach the SMG you're pretty much set for everything.
New weapons are pretty expensive, but you will never lose them and ammo is cheap.

not to happy with the top speed of the military jet, I assume this is the fastest vehicle on the game.

Little compilation of tips and helpful features from this thread and my own experience for peoople starting out:

- Use your phone!
Convenient bank deposits and withdrawals. internet->money>maze bank. Avoid carrying large sums. Dying a lot in general will hold you down in the beginning due to money loss.

Quick access to all available garages and properties

Free Elegy at legendarymotorsports (travel) is nice. Don't waste your money on trackers, insurance and lesser cars. Possible that unlocks only at a certain level?

"Jobs" is where you join the user created games popping up and you can also quick join a random match of a specific gametype (deathmatch, race, mission etc.)



-Don't waste time with Simeon and Gerald missions to grind out money unless you're just looking for some (barely) fresh missions, and even then the star-icon missions all over the map and missions by the other contacts are imo more compelling.
Especially with the 500k bonus coming.

Possible it's just been changed since the video, but everytime I've stolen the jet the wanted level doesn't show up until you actually touch the ground with your chopper/plane, so you can just fly right into the hangar with a helicopter or land right next to the jets on the oustide. You lose the level way easier than in single player as well. Just fly out to the ocean.
Also don't try to steal one in the early hours or you'll usually run into a couple of tanks.


-Generous passive mode (hold select to bring up menu) management well worth it imo.

Added bonus of people chasing you with gunfire, forcing you to step out of the car (can still be killed in vehicle and get run over) and casually jump over their pathetic attempts to flatten you, ultimately ending in them trashing your ride before taking off in fury.

- Sell stolen non-luxury cars every couple of game days in customs. Almost 10k/car.

- Don't really see the point in paying lots of extra money for "nicer" garages and especially apartments early on, when you really just need the function


No lame money farming tips. If you enjoy races, you'll be fine anyway.

For road races:
Leave some distance and horizontal space between nearby opponents as much as possible and don't take narrow inside lanes/give some cushion to inside lane trailers near curves. People just can't help themselves.
And always finish your races for points and a little bit of cash.

I like (mostly street) races and would be interested in taking shots at the more complex missions as well.
Team deathmatches and survival could be fun too if we can get a good squad going.

i had a good race with benny where i rammed him off the road in the first major turn and took the win.

however, in the replay, he owned my ass. ended up ramming me out of first place about ~15 seconds from the finish line, and i took 3rd. of 3 lol.

Finally finished SP. Have a few side missions, but can really put some time into MP now
