I did a 2v2 mission where you just had to kill the other team and I flew by the villains in my car and he basically one shot killed me... Htf did that happen? No way he headshot me while I was flying by in a car

Hi Rusty, sent from my International Samsung Galaxy S3.

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

Tried online on ps3 for first time and no problems.

Is there a 2+2 ps3 crew? Tried searching 2+2 on social club website but says must contain 3 characters. What's the name of the crew? Can I search by player name? How? Didn't see an option for that. Do you do it in game or on website? How to get a friend invite? Really confused atm.

And "2+2" is 3 characters so don't know why I couldn't search using that.

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

Finally got online. Did the very first mission with a random. Naturally pistol whipped him in the face to kill him straight after the mission for double the payout.

At the moment though, 30% of the gta online experience seems to be spent staring at lobbies and loading screens

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

A couple questions:

1. Is it possible to sell a property after you buy it?

2. If I find a cool car that I want to keep and drive around, say I take it out of my garage and do a quest with it, how do I keep it? Wouldn't I lose the car then? For example, I found 2 cool sport cars that I don't want to lose so I never take them out of my garage, but I'd like to use them since they are fast.

3.
Spoiler:

I'm only at about 56% complete. There are some pretty awesome missions to do.

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

I don't think I really get evading the cops. I got 5 stars blowing **** up with the jet today, and in the jet you're basically invulnerable; they never send jets or missiles after you as long as you don't fly over the military base, the helicopters are woefully ineffective, you're almost invincible. Then you land on the ground and I don't get how you avoid dying within 5 seconds once a few cop cars show up because you're so vulnerable to bullets; you can shoot a few dudes and get in a car, but then the remaining guys put a few more bullets in you before you can drive away and you're dead.

I'm probably doing it wrong though.

1. no.

2. if you finish a mission in the vehicle, or with it near you, you can always drive it back to the garage and save it again. and, if the vehicle is damaged and you don't want to pay to have it repaired, or you're not close to a los santos customs, you can always take it back to the garage / park it / walk out the garage door / reenter and it's repaired. (btw i'm not talking about the garage that's connected to michael/franklin's homes)

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

Had someone PM me asking about the 9K mission so I thought I'd post here so everyone can see.

You have to be rank 15 to get a mission from Gerald called Violent Duct. You can play it with 1-4 players but only the host has to be rank 15, it doesn't matter what rank the other players are. Once you figure out the quick way to do it the mission lasts 2-3 mins and you get 9K and a decent amount of RP. After the mission has finished, press A to like and then spam RT to restart. After the patch they disabled replaying the mission from the lobby screen so if you run out of ammo theres an ammunation down the road from where the mission starts.

I've made about 600K doing this in about 3 hours.

If you leave a car that was in your garage on the street and don't come back for it you can wait a bit and then go to the impound lot to get it back for a fee.

Wish they would have put the LSC place you purchase and use for free upgrades in the city, kind of pain having to drive out to the desert to pimp it out and then bring it back to the city to store it

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

Just joined the PS3 crew, i'm bennyblade27. The servers are down again for me right now, it seems they go down at all the peak times so clearly can't handle the strain.

Funny moment: I went to steal a nice looking blue car but it was locked - it was owned by another player - that player then runs up and punches and kicks me to the ground (unnecessary imo just an innocent mistake) so i shoot him dead. He respawns and runs into the local Ammunation leaving his pretty blue car parked outside so I decide to shoot his tires out for fun. Then thought **** it and went full hog and blew it up entirely. I retreat to a safe distance and watch as he runs out of the Ammo store to his beloved car only to see the wreckage (insert violins). Only later did I learn that if your car gets wrecked you can only retrieve it if it has full insurance so a part of me feels bad but that's life!

Yeah, going by the amount of screaming on the offical GTA V support forum, PS3 seems to be completely offline right now.

Got a few hours in yesterday and was racing with another crew member today, so stability is definitely improving but probably still a few days until it is really up and running...

So back to SP for a while, I guess...

Re: GTA V - Online Now (semi)Availible

hah it looks like my luck finally ran out. I was in a racing lobby. People started disappearing, then the game froze. I logged back in and my character is gone. From what I understand, the best chance of recovery is to not make a second character. Does anybody know if that is correct?

yeah, dont do it. if the game shows you the empty slots when joining online, just leave and try later again. Some say you can create a character on another slot which doesnt overwrite your existing one, but i wont try that
