GTA V - Heists taking place up in hurrr - Page 111 - Video Games

lol letting people repeat the same mission over and over is ridiculous

There are people setting missions to easy and repeating them every 2-3 minutes, making 100k+ per hour. The game's entire economy is turned upside down unless they make a change.

Given that they want to sell in game currency I'm sure fixing any easy money exploits will be a high priority. On that note, expect any money you've saved up online to be reset soon enough.

Probably. It's so blatantly obvious that I don't know how they could miss it, though. They created a mission, for example, where you can earn $9,000 in 2-3 minutes. They couldn't see this coming when they decided to allow people to immediately replay missions over and over?

I don't think they'll remove the cash farming capabilities. They said they'd keep it balanced so I'm guessing they'll leave the farming for those who don't want to spend money. At least I hope anyway.

If toxicwaste7 is someone in here, my apologies.

I just played for the first time online, and was trying to join with a crew member. I met up with TW7 and got into "her" passenger seat. We had a nice drive that ended at a store, so we got out to rob it. TW7 shot at the wall to speed the guy up, but when I tried it, I killed you with a pistol whip to the head. Then when you spent your next 2 lives chasing me down I had no choice but to return fire.

iirc, in old school GTA, once you got past the novelty of your friends being able to get into the car your driving, it got old really quick.

now there's tons of new content, co-op missions, and new areas to explore?

Yeah there is a free car on the Legendary Motorsports website that everyone signed up with Rockstar Social Club gets but you have to own a garage so it can be delivered.

Anyone else actually able to get online? Or is the majority still experiencing issues?

I've created my character, went through the intro, and at the very beginning the character walks towards this circle(which I assume is an online race). After which it gets stuck on a loading page and I have to restart the console.

that seems to be most people's experience.

you can just unplug/replug your Ethernet instead of rebooting the system to save time. some have said signing out of PSN works too

Just played a long session. Got to listen to some ppl raid the army base and steal planes... Htf do u get into there? It's all fenced in.

Had a other guy in some souped up car that made his mission to make my life hell by constantly rammin my car until I had to leave it

Finally, i got it today. Cant believe how good it is, how much they improved on IV. (graphics, physics, options, side missions,etc)

Now online, i had problems and got stuck several times, on the loading screen, that happens cause "servers are overload" as far as i know.

But after a couple of tries, i played it and it was awesome. Sorry dobermann_818

christ, the recent patch messed up my singleplayer game. i can't switch characters or enter any new missions.

i have a previous save that doesn't seem to be corrupted, but i'll have to replay a couple of hours if i load that. lame.

Argh having same probs as you guys but with the difference that the first blue marker isn't there anymore, so I can free roam but have nothing to do cos nothings unlocked. Game keeps directing me to go to the non existent marker, and lamar keeps telling me to get in a car that's not there, and I can't even shoot the bastard lol. Oh well, guess I'll have to go for 100% on SP and try again then
