I think he makes a valid point - part of what's so awesome about the GTA games is the freedom to do whatever you want. Being forced to make choices and commit acts you do not want to do (even in a game) is going against that.

Obviously there has to be some direction to a story and it can't be all free will down to every little detail, but having options for the some of the stuff described here would help a lot to identify better with the character(s) you want to play.

There's a huge difference here in that the game lets you do it - it doesn't make you do it.

I'd venture a guess that this is your typical response to questions that require more than a knee jerk response

Gonna talk about any other part of what I said or overlook it?

So you bought an 18 rated game which is notorious for Violence and now you're angry because you gotta do something immoral.

If it offends you so much don't play it.

If the only complaint you have regarding the game is that it's immoral in a handful of missions then I guess Rockstar are doing something right. Not replying to this anymore. Swings and Roundabouts

Protip - Don't upgrade your car unless you're told to in missions as you are able to buy Los Santos Customs and get everything free of charge saw a guy say he dropped 100k on a car earlier ITT

Stole the stunt plane and flew around the map for 20 mins. I am starting to get the hang of it. Then I flew into the blimp and killed us both.

Also what are some funny instances you have come across when switching to another character. Mine would have to be switching to Trevor and he's passed out drunk on a roof

Finally unlocked Trevor. Am not disappoint.

I had my first really good go on this game today and while it is amazing the sheer size of the game and the detail they have put in I am a little bit disappointed by the lack of buildings you can go in and do stuff. Like in previous games you could enter the hospitals, casino, restaurants and stuff I was expecting them to take that to a new level but there seems to be very few buildings you can go into and they have literally nothing to do when your inside.

The tennis and golf are both really good, a little difficult to play at first but once you get used to them they are fun. I think the golf will be amazing if you can play your friends online.

I like the police in it, they are a lot more aggressive when chasing you and I have had a few epic police chases already, also I had an amazing shootout when I accidentally entered some genetic research facility and got an instant 4 star wanted level, i'd just visited amu-nation and found a great spot and only got killed when I ran out of bullets but it was really fun.

One thing I would recommend if you don't mind dying is getting a plane or blimp and going as high as possible then jump out without a parachute, it is actually scary!

Typical response when you can't grasp an argument. But hey, at least you tried taking part in the conversation.

Yeah, i fully agree with you. Choice is what makes these games so awesome to play. Forcing you to do stuff against your will without a valid motivation isn't the way to go imho, and only detracts from the enjoyment.

If I kill a prostitue it was my decision to do so and it makes me involved in the game. Forcing me to always kill all prostitues would transform a big plus of the game in sometng negative.

i can obviously understand what he's saying, just because i choose to make fun of it doesn't prove otherwise.

i can actually get that a game can go too far (manhunt is a great example) and i understand that GTA hasn't until now required the player do something like that, previous ones showed similar scenarios in cut scenes and often the graphics made it cartoony so its not as effective.

but no i obviously cant understand because i disagreed.

seems like i can comprehend better than you can

Traded in my broken xbox for a sleek refurbished black one. Last owner had some Wierd stuff saved to it.

Did the first missions up to the one you bring the 2 cars to the dealership where he's dealing with the Jona Hill look alike.
Disappointed that when you climb a massive ladder to the top of a construction crane you can't control it.

Drove around and caused havoc for a few hours. Impressed that they even have deer running around.

Can you take the subway anywhere. I waited around for a few minutes and missed the train that came

I hate when people actually take time to type Jesus Christ when on a rant. It's disgusting and should be illegal imo, just sayin.

Fwiw, I have played all of the GTAs and love this game, but I completely agree with and understand some people's feelings regarding the torture missions. I have no problem playing the game, and those missions, but it is fine to not feel great about doing that.

Agree with this as well. I was hoping you'd be able to go inside more buildings. Still, this game rocks and I didn't like IV.

Not sure if this has been discussed but there is a sign on the casino that says 'coming soon', does anyone know if will be available in the future?

You can strafe in the shooting range. Strafe moves the same speed as the target.

My current strat is just to blow through the main game storyline, so I am guessing things like that come from the side missions, if it is similar to how it went previously.
