Flight school just unlocked for me, wow are helicopter lessons hard! golds straight through the planes with a couple retries at most -> failing by minutes on the first helicopter one

any tips?

Hah, it was bc I didn't turn on the tv lol. One thing I hate about all gta's is how small the text is for the prompts and tips.

Umm....they are expected to have $2 BILLION in sales when all is said and done. R* spent ~$270 million in development of the game...so yeah, they're making a hefty profit off the game.

keep ur nose down while holding the lift for fastest speed

if you just cruise along without nose down you won't make it

Did my first heist. Lost over a million cause I skimped on good crooks, finally got Trevor. I couldn't land the plane. I need a lot of practice or new controls. I think the roll and turning need to be reversed.

I think the policing while in free roam mode is a bit excessive. You can hardly have any fun before they are on your ass. More realistic though I guess.

I haven't played the game yet but I thought the idea was that you build up in strength, get better weapons, etc. How long have you been playing? Or do the cops get tougher as you do?

2 week delay before online is probably to give them time to get their servers ready, since they can now have a good estimate of how many players will be playing. May be the first game in history to not have first day servers lols

Completely agree, its not realistic to have cops there instantly any time you do anything. Way too excessive

Also I landed the plane on the first try, was very worried about that with all the complaints

I think it's actually a lot more fun this way. In SA especially if you got bored and tried to rampage you could just sit on a highway shooting at semitrucks for a while before getting into any ****. Eventually a trickle of cop cars would show up and you'd blow them up. But there was a lot of running around looking at CJ, waiting for more **** to blow up to spawn.

Trying to evade three star wanted levels in this game is INSANELY FUN. You're driving at high speed down alleys, changing cars, dodging spotlights...

GTA:V review
+10 for beautiful scenery (underwater also of course!)
+10 for funny dialog
+10 for vehicle customization that is actually surprisingly better than anticipated
+10 for a jolly good time!
+10 for flying planes again!
-2 for alright radio stations in terms of song choice...
-.0001 for cop hitting me and the arresting me when I did nothing but say "hello!" lol
If you want a jolly good time, highly recommend giving it a go, as it is one of the best games this year. For now a 10/10.

With Franklin running from cops is insanely fun. Throwing on his special when you are hitting an intersection and turning while the cops go flying by then jumping out and getting into another car is pretty sick.
