I'm deep in a deepstack MTT on 888 poker. This is such a win-win situation. Either I reach the final table and win money or I bust and get to go and buy GTA in the midnight launch. I'm also drunk. This night is awesome.

i've been procrastinating about replacing my ps3 that died a while back. probably going to regret that tomorrow.

did correspond with someone on CL about his, probably will just go to buybacks or whatever and buy a refurbished one with some sort of warranty, head to walmart, and kill some hookers.

Looks like Escapist gave it 3.5/5 with a lot of hand-wringing about how morally evil the main characters are. ****ing hipsters, of all the reasons to dislike a GTA game, THAT IS NOT A GOOD ONE.

Not read the review but one of the main criticisms of nearly all action games(and GTA4) is the disconnect between your actions and your character during cutscenes. The only way to fix that is to make the characters reprehensible. I have no problem with that. You should feel a bit uncomfortable after brutally killing so many people.

I was reading on gtaforums today about amazon screwing people over on their "release day delivery." Apparently a while back u could choose 2 day shipping and they said it was release day delivery. Now they have 1 day shipping and the price is ridiculous. Kinda ****ed up to change it at the last minute imo.

Well Amazon says my bundle is 20 miles away and will come tomorrow, so I am feeling pretty good about this!

Ordered a headset today because I realized trying to use the pc gaming one I got going through different adapters to work on my phone at work may not work on ps3, supposed to come tomorrow as well.

Amazon Prime is money well spent friends.

If it makes you feel better I would say 8 of the last 10 orders of mine on amazon have had one day later as the estimation date. IE saying Tuesday and coming on Monday etc

this is usually how it works w/amazon in my experience. been prime for a while and don't think I've ever had an item delivered after its guaranteed date despite seeing misleading dates during transit.

Got mine early. There are no stores doing a midnight launch where I am, and I'd be fairly confident that I'm one of fewer than 10 people in my town who has a copy at this point. If I install at 12:00, I should be fine, right? Regardless of there being no place selling the game until 10 hours from now, right?

pretty devastated I didn't get mine today

i've ordered probably 10-15 games for release day shipping from amazon and they've all arrived on tuesday, never earlier or later
