Just got back from the midnight launch, there was over 300 people there and this is not even that big of a store and 1 of 2 places at that mall doing a midnight launch.

I'm doing the install now. I haven't been this excited for a game since Donkey Kong Country.

Confirmed shipment of Playstation 3 GTA bundle with guaranteed delivery tomorrow. So excited - looking forward to playing all night tomorrow night after the kids go to bed, then skipping work on Wednesday.

Can't even imagine what my college life would have been like with current-generation games. I sunk a ton of time into Super Tecmo Bowl for NES with my friends, and I feel like I'm very lucky not to have been born 15 years later.

The 98 metacritic score is pretty remarkable, but then again after the SimCity fiasco I'm pretty much over trusting shill reviewers. It's even more impressive here though, ~30 of the 35 already up rate it a 98 or higher. Already pre-ordered it regardless.

Lots of people have got the game early and have been playing for a couple days already, the general feeling is that it lives up to the hype.

Might have to try to get a day off this week.

There is an iOS app out for the game. It is called iFruit. Link it with your R* Social Club account.

Waiting on midnight launch release central time. If you haven't preordered it, I bet Walmart or Best Buy will have plenty of copies.
