GTA V - Heists taking place up in hurrr - Page 50 - Video Games

Part of me is hoping it's a huge disappointment so I can quote this later for lols. I'll say that it looks pretty but there's plenty of room for it to suck, or just not offer anything really new in terms of gameplay experience, or the huge open world is mostly just scenery you pass through without much meaningful interaction (or it's so repetitive you don't care to run through those scripted interactions for the 50th time), or the storyline could be more idiotic than normal. I just think there's almost no way it's as good as people think it is right now. /crazytalk

Bore off with your pessimistic attitude, how miserable do you have to be to make posts like this?

Speaking of this. What else can we do in this game...as far as sports are concerned? I've seen tennis, golf, and I'm sure bowling is in there like last time. And oddly enough, I actually enjoyed the working out aspect in SA. I thought it was fun bulking up your character like a roid junky.

The working out thing was fun because it made your character model change shape and was completely voluntary. I worry that Trevor will be blowing up your cellphone asking when you're taking him golfing. I don't care if the golf is just reskinned Tiger Woods 14 in that case, that will get real old real quick.

everything optional is welcome, but as soon as you are forced to do certain things, it tends to get annoying.

I didnt like the gang wars in SA and really hated some of the social stuff in IV. they can keep all that in though, as long as I can freely choose when to do it.

i enjoyed the gang wars, but the social **** is unbearable. they need to stay as far away from that as possible. or change it up so those things actually matter and youre not wasting loads of time.

the turf wars in vice city stories were the absolute worst. every time you're driving to start a new mission, a freaking take over would start and derail all your progress.

the turf wars never stopped happening in vcs tho. (i only played it on psp) but once you unlock the second part of the island and do a few missions, the bulk of the time is spent defending territory.

christ it's like none of you have been reading articles leading upto the release.

VCS turf wars were annoying. SA wasn't too bad - it's best to just take them all over so you don't have to worry about it.

kinda random but you can get on a ferris wheel and a roller coaster....theres also a workout area in venice beach but you cant workout there oddly enough.
