First time in a while game of the year will be neck and neck, gta5 vs last of us

If I preorder this on the playstation store, will I be able to download and run the game on any ps3 that I'm logged on to? I have 3 PS3s (I use them as media servers for bedroom, basement, and living room) and would like to be able to play it on any of them. If not, I'll just order a physical disk.

I play very few console games, and have never used the playstation store before.

Well theres your problem. I have it ahead of TLOU right now for goty. Im going to try not to let recency bias sway me when gta v comes out, but it will be hard.

I assume Watch Dogs will be in the running as well. I honestly dont see anything coming close to GTA though.

My guess is it will start to download at midnight. Not sue how long 8gb will take. Could take hours.

The answer is you can authorize a ps3 for a PSN account twice. This means any games bought on the PSN Store can be downloaded and more importantly activated (licensed) to play. So you can do it on two different PS3s. Someone can use their PSN account, and play on your game, if the game was activated before. It does not apply per game. When you activate an account, it is for the entire PS3.

It used to be allowed on 5 systems, but it is now 2. You also can deactivate a system, if you want to move your purchased games to a different ps3

I don't see anything in that list that can reasonably beat TLOU, Fire Emblem & Bioshock might snatch some unimportant ones but no major ones.

Hard to say if TLOU even makes a chance, but even if GTAV lives up to expectations it prolly still has a really small chance.

TLOU will probably win the most GOTY awards because it's straight up oscar bait and the game industry loves that ****. I'm not saying it's a bad game and doesn't deserve it but it is what it is. Bioshock Infinite is a good game but is massively overrated by most critics and in terms of game design, still isn't as good as System Shock 2. It nails story and atmosphere though.

If GTA 5 comes through with everything it's shown and is just as fun as we all think it's going to be then in my eyes nothing will even come close this year. It might not tell a story that will get you emotional or thinking about weird **** but it's going to give me a lot more hours of fun than anything else.

Rest assured it's going to make a pathetic attempt to do so.

Yeah the only things that's really excited me about the story from the trailers is that it leads to me doing heists.

Got bored quickly of Bioshock, got moved by TLOU. No doubt GTA will be as much fun as a box full of kittens.

TLOU for me should scoop up a tonne of awards. GTA won't need them.

i would think this is the one game that really needs no advertising. aside from putting out the trailers and news about what the game will be like online/single player.

the gta series is that good, and word of mouth is enough to sell massive amounts of copies.

its like retro jordans. the jordan brand doesnt spend any money on advertising, they release 300k pairs of jordan 11's and sell them all out. then move on to the next re-release and do it again.

Thats not how it works. The marketing budget will be huge.
