GTA V - Heists taking place up in hurrr - Page 7 - Video Games

Damn, too bad its not this autumn, but another year isn't bad. Looking forward to it, hopefully they improve the mp from rdr which had potential but it was buggy. Map being five times bigger than liberty city is awesome too. Hope they add some landscape variety.

They actually say that if Max Payne 3 doesn't perform well they'll try to get GTA5 out by the end of this year. In any event there's no reason whatsoever to believe that those claims are actually made by a friend of a friend of a jaded Rockstar ex-employee.

As far as screenshots go, these are looking pretty promising (as in not looking similar in style to the horror that was GTA IV).

4 looked great and realistic.

I prefer great and colorful, way better imho. Shades of brown, grey and dirty green can go **** themselves, gimme every light tone out there.

It looked just fine and so does this, but graphics-wise, I don't think anything in the current generation of consoles is really going to wow me anymore. The wait for next gen is getting silly at this point.

F*** the story, can't wait to get me some more free mode action. Absolutely great fun causing beef with randoms. My favourite MO was:

-Honk horn at unsuspecting random, inviting them to get in. Worked best when they had just spawned so they had no guns etc.
-Drive around a bit letting them pick up weapons etc.
-Park up by a weapon pick up so they didnt suspect what was coming
-Pull out a gun and shoot them squarely in the face thru the windscreen Mr White style

Put a young kid on epic monkey rage tilt for about 2 hours once doing that, so much fun

Yeah but that way they insta respawn. If you really want to put someone on tilt you do what me and my friends did. One person gets a boat, the other gets a helicopter. Helicopter picks up random and takes him out to the water as far as possible. Jump out of the helicopter, get picked up by the boat and the random is left stranded in the water. He can't kill himself to respawn, it's a good 5-10 min swim back to land. The hilarious rants/messages we got after doing that made it all worth it.
