I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. Having multiple 5+ kill games in squad.

Pro tip for sniping...aim just above the head. Or noob tip lol. For the longest time I could not do any damage with the sniper rifle. This worked like a charm.

I'm getting a little better. Definitely some improvement, but need to get used to the setup.

I'm using Q, C, and F and the side mouse button to change into build mode. I tried using Q, Z, and E, but I'm so used to having E be the pick up loot that I don't want to change that and Z isn't a natural motion when trying to move with WASD.

I'm waiting until I'm forced off the bus at the far edge and then just practicing building and switching between the different walls.

My last match, just now, I ended up #5 with 1 kill. Was getting shot at 3 different sides so I wasn't quick enough to spin around and put up another wall before I was killed.

Question: What is it when it sounds like you get hit by a laser? It's not a "bang" shot, it's more like a "whiz" or a "pew."

You don't need to switch into build mode, hitting the wall or ramp button automatically puts you into build mode.

Sounds like a crossbow but could also be a silenced gun I guess.

Right. I guess I meant to cancel the build mode. If I hit F to build, then I need a button to cancel out? Seems faster.

I don't think it's a crossbow. It seems like it's more of a powerful shot like a laser or energy burst.

That's cause of the bullet drop, depends on how far you are I think you use a tick on the crosshair per X meters or w/e.

I think it’s 50/100/150 and so on. I don’t often snipe in this game. Mostly to eliminate after using something else to down.

Speaking of scoped weapons, the snipers, the crossbow and the HR all have different projectile reaction. I can’t figure out the damn HR. It’s a faster bullet but I don’t know what it’s drop is. I do like that the scope ARs are perfect shots though.

You can hit any of your weapon buttons to get out of build mode

I think the laser sound is for when someone wipes your entire shield.

I think I read that fortnite out sold pubg last month as in over all sales dollars. Like 130mm to 110mm. Which is ****ing insane for a game that is free to play. What a dream to have people pay you that much for digital clothing, something I could never bring myself to do.

I don't know anyone who plays this who hasn't spent more then what it would've cost to buy a regularly priced game. I'm at about $80 so far and I know someone in the $300 range. Its really insane!!

I find it hard to believe that Fortnite made that much money just from skins.

I keep hearing the game is free, the game is free. I paid 20.00 for it. Apparently I got the Standard Founder's Pack - Fortnite Battle Royale. I have no idea what I paid for. I'm guess others are in a similar boat.

They make a ton off the PvE side, but the skins on the BR side are pretty sick, especially if you compare it to what is all out there.

I saw shroud get some "rare" scarf in PUBG, the other day. Chat was telling him it was worth $250 or something. You can barely see the damn thing, and it was indeed being sold on 3rd party sites for $250.

Fortnite puts a lot of work into their cosmetics.


You seem to have purchased the PvE version, so you prolly have some stuff on that side of the game. The BR part of it is free, shouldn't have cost you anything. Or, you may have gotten some sort of skins that you didn't notice?

really? i ve found the guided missile to be worthless both for and against me/us. it only has about 100 hp, just gets shot down by anyone.

anyone find crossplatform to cause PC player to crash more? not even the bad_module error, just shuts game down.

i guess if u get it early on the guided missile is a free kill but late game u literally just have to put a roof over your head.

lol yeah came back to post that I got it again and it was getting shot down consistently. And people are getting smart and building when they see it coming , so not as bad as I originally thought
