I think you should ideally win the game with one or fewer kills. It can happen.

Pretty much. All of my wins have been 3 or less. The videos on youtube that have a huge amount of kills while still winning all seem to be on PC. I've had a couple of 8+ games and I was out in the top 15.

Once you've won a game, as long as it was based more on strategy, its almost easy to start racking up wins.

Are there traps in this? I just randomly dropped dead near a buzzing noise and someone across the map got the kill somehow, they were in the middle of building at the time.

Also,

Bazooka is OP at the end. Less than ten left, I got like four kills in a row just fishing people out of hideouts.

Best part of bazookas is shooting out structures used for getting to high places and watching them fall. Especially in squads!!!

Bazookas okay, but the noise+massively slow projectile speed make avoiding them super easy. They are mostly useful for destroying opponents cover (large trees/bases) without wasting your AR/snipe ammo.

Not sure if mentioned ITT yet, but the most OP GUN BY FAR is the scoped AR.

80% of winning a match is acquiring this gun.

Traps are massively useful in early game.

I posted before about how much easier wins are after your first, and though I still think that, the loses are getting more annoying. The gear distribution is pretty goofy in this and makes for some bull**** matches.

I always seem to end up with ridiculously good gear around 12-20 people left.

I just go for scope AR/sniper/AR and then a shotgun and either medkit/bandages/grenades

Other players are my main gear source cause I rarely get anything from anywhere else. I've never gotten a purple or legendary in my own and still have only got like 4 snipers. The few times I was totally geared up, I got shot in the back by people rushing out of the storm or some highly skilled hider sniping me from areas I'd never know.

But there was the one time that I had full health/armor, purple AR, purple bolt action, legendary grenade launcher, and a back up health kit and armor..... and got kicked for inactivity while using bush strats.

Also, now that this has been out for awhile, all of the good loot routes are known. So even if you find good stuff quick, you're in a fight so soon that your then struggling to find health just to get to even.

I loot from random buildings around the edge of the map. In those 4 games I looted a gold scar, purple sniper, blue ak, 2 green semi-auto shottys, had at least 50% shield every game, had max twice (one of those times had another shield and medkit in inventory). That doesn't count loot from other players, which I am about 50% to take a kill with 20 left, and 50% to have my first kill be with 5 or less left.

I go to spots basically max distance from the spawn, and stalk the edge of the map in bushes.

The only people I've heard that don't like this are PUBG players. Makes sense. I'd rather play that. But since I can't I'm damn sure going to enjoy the **** out of this!!

Yea basically.

Since I'm a console pleb it's what's available, I'd rather be playing pubg. The shooting in this game seems kinda sucky at times but I win like 90% of gun fights so I can't really complain.

Pretty sure I lose 95% if gun fights, long distance or close quarters, by making the apparent mistake of aiming at my target.

I know I’m not the best aim in the world, but ffs I do better in CS than this

The gunplay in this is really wonky. It's like they reversed the ADS vs he blindfire. And the shoguns...... I've hated every shotgun in every game I've ever played but they're particularly bad in this.

The semi auto is a beast. I use it non scoped in and jump around at people and use it around corners.
