Apparently Fortnite is at the center of same new video game controversy? (Probably same as the old video game controversy). Saw a few minutes on today show before I had to leave for work, they were saying it currently has 45 millions players which is insane!

Edit: seems to be a focus on the addictiveness of the game per concerned parents. Sounds familiar

The new Building Pro Controller Layout is awesome.

It's up in the hundreds of millions of signed up users right now, peak times it gets well over 5 million concurrent which is insane for a 3ps.

It won't compete with things like LoL until it cracks China/Asia though. They are just MAD for games like LoL but I think Fortnite could become pretty big there.

Only thing annoying me about Builder Pro is that you need to double tap the designated build buttons for it to switch to something new. I think I might switch off the continuous building setting when I'm using it though as it feels faster.

i ve gotten like 4 2nd's, and a bunch of top 5s. usually 6-9 kills. so i think i can eventually just win playing normal, just playing only squads since the crossplatform came out.

If you have a regular group to play squads with, it’s infinitely more enjoyable than solos. Got my first solo win last week, but squads are just way more fun.

I can tell that it will be, but goddamn its hard to get used to. I only just recently switched and got the hang of combat pro.

I liked Guided Missile, but the only time I was able to find/use it was when they had the Explosives Only Playlist, was really fun to fly around the map as the Missile, the range wasn't unlimited and it seemed fairly easy to track where the Missile was launched from. I'm sure more hardcore players have good reason for wanting it gone I guess? It seemed easy enough to defend against, build a wall over your head...

Flying around the map was a blast though.

RPG and GL are fine.

I dislike when players in shooter games complain about things without a solution beyond "remove it" especially with a terribly small sample size, the game hasn't even been out long, there is always a way to defend, gotta "get gud" as they say.

It’s not that they exist it’s that they only exist for a random few. Maybe 5 of my wins involved an explosive of some sort. And they weren’t the final blow either. If they couldn’t be spammed, I’d be okay with them. But someone using 2? There’s very little you can do.

They were easy to shoot down if you saw them coming. If you didn't see them coming then you deserved to get killed for having tunnel vision.

Stupid game, second twice already this morning. I do think i turned a corner WRT aim which was my biggest weakness. Most games im coming out with 3-5 kills now.

True but I think it’s sort of silly to end games where it’s just two people spamming their 70 rockets back and forth while the teammate shoots them down or builds a ceiling. It slowed the game down too much and took the excitement out of the endgame for me

The whole weapon swap timing thing is annoying me. You can't use the pump after and edit it's basically useless after one shot and even that shot is unreliable at times. They should just roll back all updates to the pump and snipe and all the crap they've done. Just roll it back to where it was and make it so you can only pick up one pump shotgun at a time. Problem solved I think they went a little too extra and while the Casual players probably don't mind the decent players as a whole I really upset about these weapon swap changes and timing.

As far as the whole rocket spamming thing. I didn't really like the guided-missile. And having only rockets and grenade launchers isn't terrible but I think a great thing would be to drop all rockets and grenade launchers. Just give us an extra slot for all grenades and give us more grenades and different varieties. But make them all throwables and give us an extra slot. I think this would help the game immensely just take out like military grade f****** rocketry. Giving us a few different types of extra grenades and an extra slot to carry them at all times is a good solution to this. But then again it may be too much who knows I don't mind just Rockets anyway.

Double shotties didn't really bother me too much before. I saw clips that made me want to vomit, but it was rare I encountered them. At least until Builder Pro. Such a great way to build, but players who can do it well and double shotty well are damn near unstoppable. But I've never been as pissed as I was when I got double RPG'd. I know people have been asking for only being able to have 1 shotgun, but it has to be across the board for all weapons.

I think an easy solution to the RPG/GL/etc thing is to make them only available from supply drops, but have them ALWAYS drop from supply drops. And/or make them do less damage to players and more to structures. Its strange that you can reload an RPG faster then you can a sniper.... Anyways, there is far too much RNG in this game to have something that powerful only fall into lucky hands.

I think the biggest issue in this game is probably the healing. Simple fix is to allow bandages to heal to 100, 20 hp at a time. Same with minis. Let them get you to 100 shields. Its better now then it was, but losing a potential 12 kill win to a player who is 100/100 and I'm their only kill because I could only get to 75/50 isn't right. Its like you're punished for fighting.

Speaking of that, I think the best thing this game could do overall is to have a 4v4 or 5v5 TDM mode. I'm so sick of battle royale. But multiplayers are in such a bad state right now (at least for console) that there is quite literally nothing else to play. The game is too damn well made and maintained to only be BR. All the ingredients are there. Make the TDM map be a section of the map that already exists. And if you think about it, the fact everyone goes to Tilted Towers, or Pleasant Park before that, means that not nearly as many people want to play BR as everyone thinks.

Yeah I think most ppl are at the point now where getting a bunch of kills and finishing in 8th is >>>> winning with 2 kills. People want action, TDM would be a great addition.

Is there a skin that you struggle against? For me, it's Bright Gunner. I'm like 0-100 vs him.

The John Wick until everyone unlocked it was the one that seemed to be the most vicious. Both the woman and the man Bright skins seem to be up there now.

These meteors are kind of amazing. Looking forward to season 4 but the end of matches right now are extra crazy!!
