Still pretty horrible myself, but the good streamers I've been watching generally make a mad dash for an early gun, clear the local area asap preferably w/ a shotgun, then after looting the area usually getting a sniper or scoped AR from 1 of their kills then try to make their way to mid-circle asap so that people are generally coming to you.

As with most shooting games you always want to be moving when under fire. In close quarters combat especially, people don't realize just how high you can jump in this game. you can usually jump high enough to shoot OVER half cover such as a car or a fence if you time it right.

I've been playing this for a few hours tonight. I've had a couple of decent games(finished top 5) in solo and got a 3rd in squads with a buddy of mine but for the most part I still suck at these types of games. That won't stop me from playing though.

I think squads are more fun than solo.

I haven't tried Battle Royale, but I was fortunate enough to get a free copy of the game from a Twitch streamer who my wife is friends with and man, there is way too much to wrap my brain around. The game does almost nothing to explain anything, either.

So far, I've just been playing and not worrying about leveling anything up or crap like that. I don't even know what the hell to do with the skill tree. The only thing I've done is take a few obviously lower level items and put them in that scrapbook thing, just so I can clear inventory, as I'm already full.

Glad a BR game came to Xbox. Been playing it a decent amount. Hopefully with the update it fixes the accuracy problem cause that was getting real frustrating. Besides that, I think it's fun. Duos coming next week too.

My strat has been to avoid the major towns but get a clump of 3 houses or so. Land on the roof and hammer in. Also like landing at the ice cream parlour

I'm trying this now. First two games was killed almost right away. Third game, I started really far away from the storm, got lucky to find a weapon before a nearby person did, killed them, then stayed away from everyone and came in 5th.

First part is dumb. Key seems to be to go towards a structure but away from other people so you can establish yourself. I haven’t gotten to the late game yet, every game I’ve managed to kill one other person and then die.

Fun game, quick and no investment needed. You die, no big deal, start another one.

I've made a couple top 10's with a fairly passive strategy of getting one decent weapon then hiding as much as possible. If you want to actually win I think a more aggro strategy is going to be better. Get to the center as early as possible and pick of people as they are forced into it. Collect better stuff off the people you waste. Trouble is I am super terrible at combat and if I end up in any remotely equal 1v1 situation I lose almost every time.

Been playing this a ton with friends on ps4 - super addicting. We got a real good feel for it too, won something like 4 out of 6 at one point.

It might be lag on my end so my "headshots" didn't register as headshots, but I don't think so. Sucks if true. My aim is my only skill in shooters. My tactics are kinda crap!!
