Also the materials nerf is pointless. Your game is fun because of the building aspect. Its making the early game brutal, feel like I never have mats early.

Any nerf towards building is ruining the game. They should’ve doubled what you farm and what you get from chests and remove the 999 cap.

decreased how many materials you get from packs on the ground/chests from 30 to 20. It really only affects early game, but its a big struggle for materials

1k solo games and I'm in a game with 4 left. I see two guys sitting right next to each other. I figure they're going to fight so I rush them both.

It turns out they were working together and they tag teamed me. First time I ever seen that. lol

It’s not that uncommon. Seen it quite a few times.

The worst was when I saw 2 teamers and decided to follow them for a bit. I saw them set up camp and lined up a gold Deagle headshot from fairly close range. First shot perfect wasn’t in the game at the time and bloom is bull****. They both turned on me and I could only get one. I wasn’t even mad. I was thoroughly disappointed. Like a parent to a kid when they lose their trust hahahaha.

As Ive become use to the update, Im actually fine with it

Now they just need to fix the ****ing wall placements. getting pretty tired of expecting the wall to be placed right in front of me, instead it skips a square and places it 1 cube away

It's funny - I feel like all of the previous updates have been positive, despite being annoyed/upset initially.

This bodes really well in my mind. Shows that they have a decent understanding of what needs to happen to keep the game progressing, and aren't worried about what people say in the short term.

yea update is totally fine

i almost exclusively play squads and to keep things fresh we've been playing 2v2 within our squads to mimic the Friday fortnite tourneys and it's super fun. if anyone wants to do a 2v2 wager, hmu. i think they have them on UMG or gamebattles maybe, haven't checked but i imagine people playing there for money are insanely good like when we ventured into that area for CoD and would slap me

Is this game finally in decline? Lot of new content, but no new posts in the thread for a while...

Anyway, I'm still terrible at the game, but I really like the new additions of Lazy Links and the whole desert area southeast of the map.

I hope they make some changes to the west side of the map that are comparable to what they did on the east side. It makes exploring the map fun again.

I wouldn’t say decline but more of a 1:1 for players who stop playing and new ones that are starting. I can tell that some of the bigger streamers are kind of exhausted with it at the moment. I play a little here and there for challenges but that’s it.

The challenges are bunk. The game is fun.

The combos are interesting, luck and skill.

Squads great and I like to load up in grenades, clingers, mini/lightmachine guns

Challenges are the only reason I bother with the game anymore. Keeps me up to date with items and such just in case they finally make a TDM’ish mode or do interesting LTMs. It’s too much of a **** show and I did my time in the game. There’s nothing left to do in it anymore and I really don’t like BRs.

Epic had their 2nd summer tournament tonight. It was a solo tournament 10 games against random lobbies. 5 points for a win 1 point for every kill with 10k cash for games with over 20 kills.

Big controversy as the winner seems like some random console player who had tons of kills against people that didn't even fight back.

My boy NickMercs (actual best console player in the world) got 3rd. Highly recommend his stream. He looks like a typical bro douche but he's actually really chill and funny and the fact he's on console and can do what he does is impressive.

Nick is easily the deadliest console player but Not quite the best. But he’s an easy top 5. That’s a very dumb point to make and I apologize hahahahah.

But yeah, his stream is awesome!! Been a sub for awhile!! Best stream on twitch. He’s that loud abrasive dude who would jump in front of the football team and berate them for picking on a helpless kid.

And the controversy, I don’t know what to think. Dude goes from 6.5 kills a game with about 12% rate. Then he does this?!?!?! I have a friend who plays with him on occasion and swears he’s legit but I’m gonna need proof for this!!
