Fortnite Battle Royale - Page 15 - Video Games

I've landed at Tilted every game I've played on that mode. There's usually 3/4 people there who are pretty bad. You can get good loot.

shame I won't have time to put in 50 games, I played 6 last night and was top 5 in all.

I haven’t tried the new mode yet but it sounds like a terrible campfest.

The fact they aren’t weighing in kills is sort of mind boggling. I don’t follow the competitive scene very closely but as far as I know all the tournaments and competitive games are either determined solely by kills or weigh kills very heavily (not to mention every single noteable streamer plays for kills and not wins). It’s pretty surprising given how in touch the dev team has been with the community.

Daequan’s 39 Kill (40th he put up a wall that made the dude RPG himself) was more impressive to a degree, but the fact that Ninja didn’t use a shotgun makes this pretty goddamn impressive.

It was a tournament game without his partner making up an 8 kill deficit against one of the best players using mostly an LMG. Gtfo

Agreed. Also worth mentioning that he sucked in the prior round which contributed to the 8 pt deficit

He also struggled quite a bit last night in the new mode. I went to bed around midnight est and as of then he only had 1 win in about 10 tries. He’s obv a world class player but seems like his skill set is more suited for pub stomping than anything else

This is probably the biggest thing in eSports ever. This kind of money will revolutionise eSports and competitive gaming.

$100m is more than the top 10 eSports prize pools combined. For context, Dota 2 gave away $36m on all their majors and big tourneys. That's probably the biggest competitive game out there.

Organisations are about to absolutely **** themselves over this. Right now there's only a couple of orgs who have 'teams' - I'd expect to see every single large eSports org on the planet have an established team with massive salaries soon.

Honestly, this is probably the best thing EPIC could do to cement Fortnite as a long standing game.

I’d be very surprised if there’s cheating involved. World class players shouldn’t have any problems winning 75% of games if they are actually trying to win. Winning 95% just requires a bit of run good.

Very few world class players (especially the popular guys on twitch) are actually trying to win which distorts our view.
