I reached online season level 3 and every team seems to have Bale/Ramos/Neymar/ or something like them. Is this the norm? My team's most expensive player is Vidal at 30k

Yep

I've noticed quite the jump from division 4 and 3 as well

The players aren't any better (although I do occasionally get jailsexed by somebody good with a CR7/benzema/Bale front 3) but everybody plays really sweaty ultra defensive tactics

So whats the go to formation this year in FUT? havent been playing too much, think im in Div 4 and so far just have the two super cheap team I made to start (doumbia/musa russian league team) and am going to start working on another team.

for me playing defensive or ultra D is a necessity. Aubauayang/Ibrao/(insert any pacey MF'r here) sprinting at my back 4 50 yards from goal, i know how that ends, and its the worst part of the game. playing those tactics forces both team to pass and play something that resembles football.

this is the best Aguero/IF Griezman team i've built so far, they're a sick combo. if any1 has ideas how to use both in a team i'd appreciate the input.

nice. i bet if griezman is pretty fun. i think i'm gonna do that and just buy and try out random IF players (only 1 or two) per team. i haven't played with any if's yet and am 7/7 winning titles though so don't want to mess anything up. especially since i know in past years if you have 3+ in forms on your team you were handicapped to ****

anyone with more than a few if's, have you noticed a difference in this years game?

I treated money as no object, but there are a few cheaper/expensive alternatives on the bench. Actually really like the look of this team, not tried it though or that formation. Given how useless wingers are this year, having two CAM's might be cool. Might try this out

Just realised you can have Benzema at ST instead of Mandzukic without any other changes which is clearly better

This game is so ****. Arcadey as **** and manual passing is more broken than ever. Every single game I tap the pass button and the ball goes flying.

I'm switching back to PES. Played 1 half of the demo and it feels a lot more realistic than FIFA. Looks like PES 5 but w/e, gameplay seems waaaaay better.

that midfield is seriously the best ive used this year, so well balanced. just keep possession for the first 60 min and smash them when they got no fitness left

hopefully ill afford this around TOTY release, looks so sick:

Wingers are useless? I found early on vs the cpu I loved attacking from the wings, but I'm guessing you're implying it isn't as good vs humans?

I use a 3-4-3 with all Juventus players in my Def/Mid. Love Marchisio and Vidal as they pretty much chase everything down with their awesome work rates and stamina, also have Lichtsteiner and Asamoah set to come back on D and they kind of make it a 5-2-3
