this just hit me out of the blue: it would be awesome if you could hold LB + RB and pass to make the player passing do an angled run whichever way he was running when he passed.

Is there a reason this game doesn't drop closer to the opening of European soccer? Seems very odd. Is it to not interfere with Madden?

I thought that maybe, but with roster updates a few times a week, doesn't seem like a good reason to leave it rotting on the vine so to speak.

I doubt it has anything to do with Madden. UK and Europe are the biggest markets for FIFA i think and there aren't many people that would buy Madden over FIFA here. It's more likely to be because the football season starts around the time that a lot of people are on holiday. Big games aren't usually released in the summer because of that. Releasing it a month later allows people to have had another pay day.
