I know I made a post agreeing w/ this when it was said, but I'm no longer sure it is the case. I have won the league once and I continue to be matched up w/ a few terrible players (in Div 1) and I am convinced there is no way they have won the league before.

I have been playing terrible lately and just lost my 1st game in div2 1-4 (scoreline was closer than I deserved). 2 games before that in the season I got relegated I beat a guy 10-1. How the hell can someone I beat 10-1 in div1 have won the league before?

he could have been trying to relegate himself, i usually do that after winning d1. if you get relegated then go back to div 1 it resets.

That was one example, but there have been others where I felt there was no way villain could have won a div1 title. However, if the theory says that you reset after being relegated that would make sense because I've been relegated since my title.

I want to try out formations I haven't used yet (so anything besides 433 & 4312) and am looking to buy a cheap team that will give me a taste of the formation. Tell me what you think about this la liga 352 and where I can make improvements. Thank you.

Do the people that list cards at ******ed prices (HAMSIK FOR 4,200! MICCOLI FOR 15K! HERP DERP) ever actually sell anything?

dont hate the free market at work. i have a couple random golds that i list for ridiculous 10K+ prices when i have room in my trade pile but havent hit on one yet

finally think im getting there, profit margins seem so small tho gonna be hard work to make 100k profit from cards worth ~5k when i average about 300 profit after ea tax. not sure how you get to a million coins ever

plus i actually only win one in 10 auctions as people seem to relentlessly pay silly money for average cards

I think one thing that helps is to pick some high-volume cards that you see being traded a lot, and add a bunch of those auctions to your watch window just to see what people wind up paying for them. That can tell you what a card's general value is, and when you see one slipping through the cracks for less than it should go for you can snap it up and sell it for a nice profit. For me, Milito and Jovetic are guys I can get a couple times a day for <1k and resell for 1.3-1.5 (more if someone is impatient and wants to BIN for ~2k); Hamsik and Vidal will consistently sell for 1.3-1.4 if I can pick them up for 1k. I'm working on a much smaller scale than you (I'm starting small, currently have <20k coins) but I imagine you can apply the same principles to more expensive cards.

For the more experienced traders, curious what you think optimal listing strat is. Say I have a Muriel, who can sell for anywhere from 1.5k to 2.2k:

a.) list at 1.5 start/2.2 BIN
b.) list at 2.1 start/2.2 BIN
c.) list at 150 start/2.2 BIN
d.) other

For high-value cards I see a lot of people do C and it seems to work out well for them, I guess a lot of people bid on it when it's low and thus feel invested in trying to win it? But it does increase the risk that you lose $$ on your card.

never ever do option C, its just too risky and you get burnt so often.

selling always do B, at the end of the day you make b a price which gives you a decent profit and you can set it at a competitive price in the market.

if you are low in coins then premium bronze packs @ 750 are good to make profit. standard players in formation sell for 200, contracts and fitness sell for 200, shiny contracts sell for 250-300 and shiny fitness sell for 1500.

then if you hit the jackpot and hit a shiny gold with a bit of pace can sell for thousands with a bit of luck.

also always use the webapp for trading as its so much easier to use.

if you have a player worth 10k, if he's in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation he will sell for 16k, because that formations is so popular(and if you wanna buy a formation modifier it will cost 6k)

so wat you do before you start trading is you look up the player in a popular formation, you see the lowest BIN(buy now), and then you search the for the LIVE auctions where his price is lower(after tax, 5%), then u bid on all of them up to a certain amount where you can make profit.

you wont win all of them , but you will wi some and make profit with those, after you get alot of coins you can do this with more players and increase the money you make.
