I found if i made a good tackle in their half, they where unorganised at the back and most of my goals scored from this pretty realistic but yeh... tryna break down 2 banks of 4 gets pretty boring (Even if it is realistic) wil be awesome online

Just got in UT Beta and the gameplay is alot slower, welcome change feels alot more like h2h of 12.

Really like the feel of this version.

Last years game was a lot slower than the previous version but UT was still kamikaze mode compared to normal but hope this year is different.

Did anyone notice this year that every once in a while a game of UT felt like the gamespeed was almost doubled from a typical UT game? I dont know if this could be some sort of internet connection thing, but some games it was absurd how fast the ball was traveling

At first i wasn't that impressed but now im loving the demo. They've made loads of improvements...

Tackling - you can actually slide tackle pretty reliably now and rarely give away a free kick if its a good tackle. Ive made loads of last ditch tackles in the box.

Passing - Feels more exact. I can actually aim my through balls exactly where i want them. Less of the ball going to the wrong player.

Shooting - ive already scored 3 goals which i never would have scored on 12. It feels like theres more variety in where the ball can go instead of shooting and it always going straight for the corner or straight down the middle. I had Silva curl a ball towards the centre and then it dipped down to the left and in off the post. That never happens on 12. Also better first time shots and less reliable finesse shots will make the game better.

Holding L2 and R2 now gives you way better control, you can entice defenders into the tackle and then skip round then or wait for your players to make runs and release at the right time without having to go round in circles.

Add this to UT leagues and 2v2 leagues and i cant wait.

I dont want a game to feel the same. FIFA 13 just does that. I still would be buying though. Addivtive POS.

Im on Legendary, and without sounding like a dick, Im one of the better players.

I will agree though that Im trying to play too FUT-like and it doesnt work vs CPU. Pressing the ball high up is completely pointless because they just pass around you until the spaces inevitably open up. Also, I dont think Ive made a backwards pass since last years demo, and now Im having to do it again, lol

He talks about 1st touch and what 'build' the demo is. He says that the 1st touch has been toned down in the full game. Thank god.

worse 1st touch coupled with an overhauled more realistic tackling system would make the game sooooooooo much better

currently it is just way too easy to control the ball and pass yourself out of the most difficult situations even under severe pressure -> very few physical battles like in real life.
it is just stupid that championship players have the 1st touch of messi

I guess I just hate playing against the computer but really can't get into this game based on the demo. Will still buy and play religiously tho.
Attacking AI is awesome, finesse shot isn't OP anymore, skill games look fun. Graphics + audio just seem too similar to warrant another £50 and the in game transfer/form discussion of players is pretty tilting

I wasnt saying I wanted immaculate 1st touch 100% of the time for 100% of the players, but when some players are controlling the ball further than I can kick it, Its problem. Especially when Ive only used 5* teams.

do you really play legendary? i can barely beat Pro level. usually ends in draw, so i have a lot of pk experience. the ai is terrible at pks....worse than 12.

love the demo, plays a lot different than fifa12 too
love the changed 1st touch, weighing passes properly makes a big difference now as does taking the touch away from the defender. Long balls a more difficult to control(like they should be) and high trough ball spamming will probably wont work anymore, great.
